The morning rose but the girls couldn't tell with the darkness surrounding their eyes. They heard footsteps over them and then a loud screech. The light strained their eyes as the face that they longed would come and get them finally returned. He forced them out from the floor and into the kitchen where he already made breakfast for all of them.
Robert sat them down to their own assigned chair around an old oak table that looked like it came from a junk yard. The girls sat without saying a word. Robert asked, "Who wants eggs for breakfast?" All the girls except for Molly replied' "Me." Molly is still in shock from everything that has happened in the last 24 hours. He told them, " Everything is going to be fine now. I'm sorry, but your parents left you. They didn't want you anymore so they left you and went far far away. Nobody is looking for you, but I am here for you so please call me dad."
The girls finished their meal in disbelief for their parents whom they love, correction loved has left them to live with a stranger. The morning has past as they all watched child shows on tv. Lunch came around and they had tuna sandwiches. Molly said, " Why did you take us?"
Roberts face froze, but he quickly shook it off and told her, " I want to help you sweety. Your parents left you and I felt sad for what they did." Molly turned back at her sandwich and ate it with tears rolling down her face.
He yelled, " NO CRYING YOUNG LADY OR I WILL FEED YOU TO THE DOGS!" They all sat up straight, ate their sandwiches and remained quiet. Molly wiped the tears off her face ever so slowly. They played games like a family and ate supper like a family. It came time to relax and so they all sat at the huge 'L' shaped couch and watched 'Inside out'
Rose yanked on Roberts shirt like a little girl wanting her mom. She asked, " Do we have to sleep in that scary dark room again?"
Robert took her hand and yanked her to the room where the underground room was. He opened it and said, "This is your new room unless you want me to throw you back out on the streets where wolves and bugs can get you?!" Rose shook her head no and walked back with Robert to the couch. They didn't know for sure what to say. There was so many questions, but they were scared about what Robert/"Dad" would do to them if they did.
**A week later**
It's the day before Molly's 10th birthday so she tells "Dad" and asks, "What will I get?" His face want into complete anger "WE ARE BROKE AND ITS NOT ALL ABOUT YOU SO YOU CAN JUST SIT AND WATCH TV!", He yelled. That was the only thing Molly said all day. Darkness came around and they were forced into the little room under the floor.
Morning came, but the girls didn't know. Robert came opened the floor for them to come out, but this time he only took Molly. Molly was so confused. She only hope he got her a present after all......but it was much worse......SO MUCH WORSE!
**Authors note**
Well I left on a cliff hanger again which will happen a lot so be aware. I know it wasn't that long but when I thought of the part that's coming up I needed a little cliffhanger. Hoping to make the next 800-1000 pages. I have finals coming up so I don't know if I will be free enough to write it. Over the break I will so I'll try for the publish date to be Jan. 20th 2017
