Leyla's POV I woke up and did my normal morning routine.I decided to put on some comfortable clothes. I texted Hazel and asked if she wants to come to my house and hang out. She said yes. As I was waiting for her I decided on making us breakfast. I made chocolate chip pancakes and bacon. About 10 minutes into cooking my doorbell rings "coming" I yell jogging to the door I open the door and its Hazel. "Hey bitch" She says smiling and pulling me into a hug.
"Hey babe" I say laughing and hugging her back.
"Mmm girl it smells good what you making"
"chocolate chip pancakes and bacon I hope your hungry cause I made some for you too" I say closing the door
"Don't you know me already? Im always hungry" She says taking a seat in the kitchen island
"True." I say laughing I finished cooking and served both of our foods and we began eating and talking about random things. After we ate I cleaned both of our dishes and we went to the living room and watched tv.
"So Leyla whats going on with you and Sammy don't think I didn't see y'all acting all cute."
"Oh my god it was nothing just having fun" I say shrugging my shoulders avoiding eye contact
"Bullshit. C'mon Leyla I'm not dumb."
"Ok fine we were talking or whatever and he asked me on a date. I think?" I say blushing a little
"Yass girl get some!"She yells
Soon Hazel left because she had to run errands. So here I am in my room on my laptop on YouTube watching random videos constantly checking my phone for any messages from Sammy. Which didn't come. It was around 7:30pm and I found myself getting tired so I decided that I was going to take a short nap.
I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing I rolled over and saw that it was Sammy ringing.I reached over grabbing my phone picking up and putting it to my ear. "Hello?" I said sitting up
"Hey Leyla is it ok if I pick you up at 9:00?"
"Yeah thats fine" I say rubbing the sleepiness out of my eyes.
"Ok sounds good"
I hung up and looked at the time seeing it was already 8:25. Mentally cursing at myself for falling asleep. I took a quick shower and got dressed. I decided on wearing a green shirt and ripped jeans I ordered from fashion nova and heels (Follow them on ig😻)

I curl ironed my hair and decide not to put on a full face of makeup. By the time I finished getting ready it was 8:55. I grabbed my wallet,phone,and keys and waited in the living room till Sammy got here. About 3 minutes later the doorbell rang I opened it to reveal Sammy smiling cheek to cheek. "Hey beautiful" Sammy said pulling me into a hug
"Hey Sammy you look nice"I said blushing
"Oh stop lets talk about how you look tho. You look gorgeous." He said looking me up and down
"oh stop" I said blushing very hard now
"Ight you ready" Sammy said chuckling
"Yeah" I closed the door locking it. And walking toward Sammy's car.Just as I was going to open the door Sammy opened it for me and closed it when I got in. Then jogging to the drivers seat. "So what do you wanna watch?" He asked turning on the car
"Um how about suicide squad?"
"Oh thank god I was hoping you'd say that" He smiled backing out of the drive way. We arrived at the movies we ordered popcorn and something to drink and went to our theatre that was showing the movie. After the movie Sammy and I decided to walk around because we both didn't want to go home. We were walking around holding hands and talking and we came across a pub that was doing karaoke and decided we were gonna go inside. Sammy did karaoke and sang Hello by Adele and it was hilarious. Toward the middle of the song I joined him. It was so fun we decided to get a drink and just talk. It was around 12:30 so we decided we should head home. We arrived at my house and me and Sammy got out the car. Sammy walked me to my doorstep.
"Thanks Sammy I had a good time" I said smiling turning to face him
"No problem I had a good time too maybe we can do this again?" He said smiling
"Yeah i would like that" I said nodding my head
"Goodnight" I said giving him a hug
Sammy pulled the hug and put one hand on my back and the other on my cheek. Sammy started leaning in slowly. My breathing becoming heavier I pulled him in with my hand behind his neck and the other on his cheek. Our lips moving in sync slowly. We both pulled away and Sammy rested his forehead on mine "Goodnight" He whispered before placing a kiss on my forehead and leaving to his car leaving me just standing there smiling
