Levi's POV
I woke up and expected to be in Eren's arms, and the boat to not be moving but it was swaying in the water and i am laying in my hammock with a blanket covering my naked body. "Eren?" I called out. No answer. Maybe he went out for a swim. I got dressed and went outside. "Eren?" I called out again. No answer. Maybe he can't hear me. "Eren?!" I yell even louder. Nothing.
"Why are you yelling for Eren?" Hanji asked.
"Because he's not answering me." I said trying to stay calm.
"Levi... Eren left last night..." She said.
"So he'll be back-"
"No, Levi, you don't understand. He went back to his kingdom." Hanji said.
"This is a dream!" I exclaim. Wake up Levi this is a dream...
"Levi, let him go... He's not coming back." Hanji said.
"How would you know, huh?!"
"Because he gave me this." She said giving me an envelope. I pulled the pieces of paper out and started to read it.
"My dearest Levi,
You asked me what my deal was to get back Hanji. I did not want you to know because I knew you would stop me.
I promised the Red Tail that I would go back and fight for my kingdom. I don't think we will ever be able to see one another again... I love you... I mean that... With ever salt kiss... Every touch... You are my one and only true love...
I fixed the holes in your boat.... You should sail the world like you had stated many times that you wanted to... Move on-"
My eyes had filled with tears and I collapsed on my knees and cried. He left me...
Eren's POV
The crown was placed on my head but all I could think about was leaving Levi... I miss him already... But he deserves someone better than I. It would never work out between him and I... Me being King and him being a pirate who wants to travel the world...
"My king..." Mikasa bowed to me.
"Mikasa, can you keep an eye on Levi and see if he leaves?" I asked.
"Of course your highness." She said and swam away.
Mikasa's POV
I don't understand why Eren is so obsessed with the human. It's not like Levi loves him anyway. Not like I do anyway... I watched the man clutch a letter to his chest as he cried. Once he pulled himself together he moved into his boat that had been pushed into the ocean. He guided the ship away from the lagoon and I watched him disappear into the distance.
