Toms P.O.V
I storm out of the house, my mum is driving me crazy saying I need to think about what I'm going to do with my life. But I do know I just cant exactly tell her that I work for MI9 can I. I walk up to school as quick as I can, mum and I had been arguing for a good hour and now I'm going to be so late. The guys will ask where I've been. But I just know when I try to tell them it will just upset me. And they can NEVER see that side of me. EVER! As I get to school, Preston, no doubt will give me a lecture on how "school Is important" and how "we need to reach our full academic achievements".
The second I walk into the building the tip of my pencil begins to beep, so I run to the elevator and catch up with Dan, Keri and Anisha. We all go in together. "Where were you?" Dan questioned. I quickly reply with "nowhere" before pulling the mop to go into the base. Dan looks at me as we go down, I so wish I know what he was thinking of. Was it me or maybe not.
As we get down to the base we see Frank and Stella standing at the table. "Okay team, here is your mission. KORPS have been setting up bases all over the place and one Hanse be made up so on top it looks like a storage but under ground it has a whole load of lorry's to take everything people want to store. There is only one way to get it you need to get in and destroy the control centre." Frank says to us all and at this point, I decide to walk past him and start on my computer looking for any evidence of a trap or some other stuff to help us that the crime minister left behind. Then Stella adds in "You need to get in there and destroy all the lorry's, but make sure you don't set them of, any touching and the crime minister will be right on your back, so do not go near them. And yes Keri this is specifically for you. The whole place will go up in flames. You will be killed" very cheery right.
"We got this, I mean how hard can it really be" Dan says with his "I'm so amazing" voice. He talks like this a lot. Although Frank usually brings him back to the real world. Which I guess is a good thing. "The base goes 3 levels under ground all 3 levels are like mazes with 3 lorry's on each this really isn't that easy." Frank says In his supportive kind of way. "To make it even harder there are guards on every truck this is incredibly dangerous so we can't send you in yet. It open to the public in a month." Stella once again say but this time her voice had a more concerned voice and she's looking right at Dan. When she was talking to Keri she was kind of joking and smiling whilst also being serious, but this time she's not messing around.
"I've just been going through KORPS HQ's file and found that they are keeping maps in an old broken down SKULL base under a secure lock. I think I'd be able to crack it but it'll take a lot of time." I tell them. It makes me so happy when I find out a pice of crucial information even though I never get congratulated on it. I guess it's because I don't put myself in any real danger, but it's still hard to do that stuff. I still get brushed off to the side though. Anyway I just learn the deal with never being the hero. I don't want to be a hero that far to much work, but I at least want to get the slightest bit of it.
"Get to that old SKULL base as quick as you can and don't get spotted that could throw everything of." Stella says in her hurrying fashion whilst walking out into the elevator, with Dan, Keri and Anisha. I just manège to sneak a goodbye and good luck in before they all leave.
"Tom try and crack that code while I go of and help mr. Flatly, he's got his hand stuck in the staff room biscuit tin." As Frank leaves I giggle to myself about the thought of mr. Flatly with a biscuit Tim stuck on his hand and imagine him trying to teach a lesson with it still on there. Then I just sit there for a bit thinking about stuff.
