If only he knew

Dans P.O.V

"Okay fine, I'll go home. Thanks Dan" after I here Tom say these words I know he'll be fine soon. "Whats up with Tom" Keri asks entered as to what we were talking about. "He feels really sick so I told him to go home. He said he had a stomach and a headache and felt really faint." I say quickly as we rush out of the base.

We got back to the base to see Frank, Anisha and to my surprise TOM! I have no idea why he's still here. He looks practically green, sitting there. "Tom why are you still here, I told you that you could go home." I say looking at Frank angrily wondering why the liking fuck he would make him stay in this state. "Yes, well I decided he shouldn't be going on his own back home and he said he was willing to wait till the end of school Which is now so you guys can all go now" we all leave, me with Tom holding onto my arm to balance himself. If only he knew that I really was Kind of hoping he hadn't left, so I could walk him home whilst he was holding onto me. " Anisha, wanna come down to town with me?" Keri asks with a wink added for me, I know why she's doing it. Now seems like a bad time to confess my feeling though. He's hardly going to react very much, but I decide to walk him all the way home. He walks into his house and thanks me, before shutting the door and most probably going to shut himself it his room for the evening. I hope he feel better soon, I hate it when he's I'll. First of all we could be in Serious trouble if he doesn't help us with missions and he can't go to school, which means I don't get to see him. If only he knew.

I get home and decide to text the gang. I literally have nothing better to do.

On the group chat.

Dan: Hey, Keri Anisha you on?

Keri: I'm here, your welcome for earlier.

Dan: Yeah thanks, but I never told him. You know he was kind of throwing up.

Keri: I guess so.

Anisha: Tell him what?

Keri: Oh nothing, just something Dan did today on a mission.

Anisha: What did he do?

Dan: You weren't there so I doesn't matter, it's to do with the mission.

Keri: Sorry Dan.

Dan: it's fine don't worry about it.

Keri: bye then.

Dan: bye.

So that didn't go quite to plan, but Keri's proven that I was right to trust her. She covered for me. I get ready to go out running. I do that a lot, makes missions a lot easier. Also this could be a grate chance to go see how Tons doing. I'll probably go past on the way home. I go downstairs, write a note to let my mum know where I'll be. I'm lucky to have my mum, she looks after me. She never really asks about much personal stuff in my life, like what me and my friends are talking about, or my relationship status. I know it's not because she doesn't care, she just wants to give me my space I guess. I know Tom doesn't see eye to eye with his mum, he's usually annoyed about it. That why he spends so much time down with Frank in the base. He's dad left when he was younger and his older sister just moved out, so he doesn't see her much anymore. So it's him and her and nobody to stop the fights. They just need to find something to connect to her with. My relationship with my mum got a lot better when I came out as bisexual. I guess it was like I completely trusted her. Anyway that's not important who want to her me go on about my family. I leave the note on the table and the key under the plant pot outside my house.

On my way back home I pass Toms house. His mum gets home at 6:00pm, I check the time on my phone. It reads 17:50, so walk up to the front door and knock. It takes a while for Tom to reach the door. He opens it and smiles at me. His hair is in his face. His eyes are bloodshot, still looking just as green as he was before at the base. "So um... You feeling any better?" I ask quietly. "A bit" Tom whispers. I'm sure he's lying because he look almost worse. I'm glad he feels better though, even if it is only a little bit. "Anyway I should get going now, let you get some rest." I say while turning around. "Oh and remember to text me in the morning, let me know if your in school" I say walking off. I hear the door slams the door shut behind me as I leave. I can't feel like something was on his mind. He looks really angry, but it looks like he's angry at me. I see his mums car pull up as I start to run. If somethings up I hope he tells me because he has no idea I like him. If only he knew.
