When Star and I awoke from a long night of having our pups we notice that one of the pups was acting strange. He kept howling and whimpering and Star and I didn't know why. Once I asked mom she said it was because he was hurt and she showed us the cut in he side of his tiny body. She said he was going to be okay.
"What did you name them?" Sapphire asked
"This one with the black circle around her eye is Amethyst. This one who seems to always be asleep is Lapis. The one with he cut on his side is Zeus. And this one who is a daddy's girl is named Quartz."
"Those are lovely names!"
"Thank you."
