Prologue

Ounce upon a time, in a land far, far away there was a man named Connor.

He was a knight of the land Morvus. He was a decendant of King Mark III,

the greatest king that ever ruled. His brother Quinn was his ranger and archer.His best friend Cade was one of the best knights like him. He had three other knight's: Joe, Luke, and Wyatt, six other archers: Ty, Lewis, Anna, Jackson, Brett, and Ethan. They also had two spy's: Josh and Carson. Carrie, Connor's mom was the chef of the party.

They alway's had fun and searched for adventure, but will they know what is waiting for them?

Chapter 1

" Don't wonder too far. " I said as Luke went out of camp. " I know, I know, it is just hunting I have done it three thousand times before this, I will kill the hog and come back quickly

"OK." Mom and Allison ( her helper ) asked for a hog for the week to cook. " Ok just quickly night is approaching who knows what is out there!" "Ok" Luke said as he walked away farther in to the forest " Wait let me come too Joe said running towards Luke." " FINE."

As they went I walked to the barracks and saw Wyatt and Cade "How are you doing my friends" as I patted their shoulders. " Good want to watch me beat Cade." Wyatt said in a cocky way.

" You will try ." Then they clashed and Cade swooped Wyatt's leg after parrying one of his strikes, Wyatt fell over backwards and had a sword point at his face in second's. " You try'd and failed Cade said smiling,

You alway's use too much power use your head and technique I know you have it."" I know thank you for the fight he said in a sarcastic way" "Good job both of you now let's go to the archery zone.

How are you doin-WHOOSH!!!!! "How many times do I have to tell you walk behind me not in front of the target" Anna said mad at them.

"At least least you made the Bull's Eye " I said not fazed." It could have been your eye " she said still mad at what had happened.

" Where are the others " I asked suspiciously " I am not sure, I think they are in the woods working on the Warg population they heard a pack of them not far they took there horses and left."

When there are Warg's there are Orc's get your horses let's go hurry they could be in trouble

Chapter 2

An arrow zoomed past my face and hit a tree. I stopped to look at the arrow, it was jagged and the tree seemed to be leaking something I smelt the liquid ooze." Valkies venom I said with disgust, we are not hunting them they are hunting us!" "But why Anna asked confused." "I'm not sure but it can't be good. Suddenly a branch snapped and in a split second an Orc had an arrow stuck in its neck. Thanks I said with relief as we walked towards the now squirming body." Why are you hunting us I said to the body. Why are you here Luke said puzzled, with Joe at his side holding the hog that they went out to get. "This piece of filth was tracking" I said unmercifully. " So back to the question Orc why were you tracking us." " My master sent me peasant to find your quarters and pick you off one by one but my stupid Warg got loose and your friends tried to get him I ran and hid but when I found you I wanted a closer look and then I stepped in a rabbit hole and now I am here" " Who is your masters name." I said but before I said anything else he stabbed himself with one of his arrows

"NEVER!" He yelled then he died. " Well that was unfortunate but can we eat now I am starving." Wyatt said desperately. " Fine I said and we all walked back to camp.
