3rd person pov
It was just an average day for (Y/N). She woke up, showered, etc. Once she was finally ready, she put her (H/L), (H/C) hair up into a neat ponytail, letting her bangs (if you have any, I know I do) fall out of the ponytail and land on her face, framing it gracefully. She spent the day doing chores and such until it was finally time to start heading to work. She walked to work, for it wasn't far. (Y/N) arrived at her job a few minutes early, which was good. She was a waitress at a fancy french restaurant in (Favorite place or something) . ( Pick any nice restaurant. Clearly google didn't come up with anything of my use so ,':^> ).

(Y/N'S POV)

I walked in, waving to my fellow waitresses and waiters. After working for a couple of hours, I decided to serve my last table. I walked over to it and saw a blonde haired woman sitting across from a raven haired man. The blonde woman seemed to be having fun, chatting away, but I couldn't tell if the raven haired male was. His face was stoic, and pardon my french but it looked like he had gone through some shit in his past. "Hello! Are you ready to order?" I asked in a polite tone, The man just made a little "tch" and gave me their orders. I wrote their orders down on a notepad before I asked if they wanted anything else, they said that they were fine. "Alright! Don't be afraid to ask if you need anything!" I bowed. I walked away, tearing their order off of the notepad and giving it to the chef. I Had already brought them their drinks so I just waited, chatting with some of the cooks as a couple of them finished up.

A little while later I walked over to their table with their plates of food in my hands, I placed them down and and blonde woman thanked me before I walked away. The man seemed to rush to eat his food, he didn't look like he was enjoying his time with her at all. He payed their bill and left soon after. I swear, it looked like he was trying to get away from the blonde, he practically ran away from her once they were out of the restaurant. "... What a weird couple.." I giggle to myself as I finished up.

I rushed in, I happened to be a little bit late today. As I opened the door I watched the raven haired man from yesterday, pour soup onto one of our waiter's head. Poor Eren, but he must've done something that really pissed the man off. I ran over, noticing the man was alone, and all he had was a glass of wine. I apologized to the man as I brought the angry Eren to the back to clean himself up. As I was helping him get soup out of his hair, I heard my friend (insert your best male friend's name here) call my name, I walked over to him.

"What is it?"

"You know that guy that poured soup onto Eren's head?" He asked scratching the back of his head with his hand.

"Umm.. Yea.. He came last night too, why?" I asked, tilting my head in confusion.

"He said something something like 'I'd rather have the (H/C) haired girl serve me instead of you fuckers' so.." He explained.

"Alright" I replied, and with that, I went on with serving the man. He seemed heartbroken. And to be honest with you, I'm pretty sure he was.

I had learned that his name was Levi, I didn't know much about him other than the fact that he never, ever smiled. He had this routine of coming to the restaurant every day. Every other day he would have a new female, and the days in between his dates with different females, he would come alone, and drink. He always, and I mean always, requested for you to serve him, wether he was with, or without another female. Mainly because you were the only one that he could tolerate, he just pissed off the guys, and surprise surprise, he pissed off the other girls too, yet he never made you mad, and you'd never made him mad, either. That's what he had been doing for the past couple of weeks and you felt extremely sorry for him. Sometimes you'd sit down and talk with him about these things, trying to make him feel better, and it worked most of the time.

That's what you two were doing this time, but this time he wasn't drinking. He just came to talk with you, and he seemed happier than before, he clearly couldn't keep a steady relationship so it was weird seeing him somewhat happy for once. To be completely honest, you were falling for him, but you were sure he didn't like you back after the conversation you two were having.

"Hey... (Y/N)?" He asked looking into his cup of tea.

"Yes, Levi?" You asked, you were sitting across from him, since he was alone this time.

"I think I've found her. The one" he replied, his stoic expression softened the slightest bit, but he still wasn't smiling or even anything close to that.

"Oh.. That's.. That's great.. I-I'm really happy for you.." You replied, with a fake smile. But really, it broke your heart. You knew you weren't the one for him but it still hurt like hell, hearing the person you like tell you that they have found their soulmate, which didn't happen to be you. You kept all of that hidden by your infamous

fake

smile.

"Her name is Petra Ral. and I know she's the one" he looked up at you, calmly.

Your heart shattered. Your eyes were slightly watering, but you pushed that away.

"I-I'm super happy you found her" You weren't though. You gave him a soft smile before getting up, he did the same. Minus the smile part, of course. you waved at him as he left. You quickly packed up your stuff, eager to get out of that restaurant before you burst into tears.

levi pov

I arrived early, and for the thousandth time, requested that I have (Y/N) serve me and my date, Petra. I sat down at our table and soon after, Petra arrived. She sat down and we started talking. I felt weird all of a sudden, like I had just lost all interest in her but.. why? It couldn't have been from the talking. I started to feel this way after (Y/N) came over and asked what we were ordering. Her face was calm and her mouth perked up into a smile once she got to the table but.. her eyes.. They looked pained, like she had just seen her whole family get murdered right in front of her, but that wasn't the only thing off. Her hands, they were shaking, only the slightest bit but I still noticed it. Not to mention she accidentally broke a glass, I watched it happen while she was walking into the kitchen to re-fill it.

"Um, Levi?" Petra waved her hand in front of my face.

I cringed at the sound of her saying my name. It wasn't right.

"What?!" I spat back at her. She honestly looked disgusted by the way I talked back to her but I didn't care, I figured out why I felt so weird with Petra.

She wasn't the right one.

I mentally slapped myself in the face in realization.

"God, Levi.. get your shit together." She chuckled half-heartedly.

I couldn't stand it, I purposely knocked over my glass, watching it fall to the floor and shatter. (Y/N) Came running over seconds and apologized, even though it wasn't her fault. I felt relieved the moment I saw her come running over. She cleaned up the mess, I watched her do so, noticing how red and puffy her cheeks/eyes were. It looked like she had just been crying. Once she had finished she went back and brought me a new glass of wine. Petra went back to talking about nonsense and I started to get irritated. I knew for a fact that Petra wasn't the one.

I stood up abruptly, making Petra stare at me in confusion. "I have to go" I quickly stated as I ran towards the back. Where the waiters ad waitresses should be. I wasn't allowed back their but I went anyway. "Where is (Y/N)??" I asked frantically, looking around. I saw her sitting on a stool with tears in her eyes, I quickly rushed over and hugged her, tightly. "Why are you crying?" I asked worriedly, for once. Then it hit me. "(Y/N)... Petra.. She wasn't the one.. But you are" I pulled back and smiled at her, She was shocked. "I love you (Y/N)" I kissed her, and she didn't hesitate to kiss back.

"I love you too, Levi"
