but you see, my friend maya has had a crush on my uncle josh for years. and he always says he's too old for her. because she's 14 and he's 17. but then called her gorgeous this christmas. he's a very confused boy. anyway, maya has a tough life. her dad left when she was little, and she only has half a mom. her mom is trying to act, but mostly works at a diner. maya goes by the saying "you hope for things, you get disappointed."
