Drop in the ocean

Misty's  POV//
"A drop in the ocean, a change in the weather. I was praying that you and me might end up together. It's like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert but I'm holding you closer than most." You heard Shawn singing in his room. You waited until he was finished to enter his room because you knew he was uploading a cover today. When you heard Shawn say "thank you" you began to clap as you enter his room.
"good job Mendes, that sounded amazing!" You said going in for a hug.
"Thanks misty." Shawn said with a chuckle. You and Shawn sat on his bed. Shawn got his computer and uploaded his cover to YouTube. You both noticed Shawn had gotten an email so he opened it and read aloud.
"Shawn,
Hello, my name is Bart Bordelon. I found your cover on YouTube and I think you have what it takes to join Magcon. If you don't know what Magcon is, it's a meet and greet convention where you and a bunch of other guys tour the world and put on shows for fans so you grow bigger. I'm the producer and I think you could be a hit. The other guys that are joining are Nash Grier, Cameron Dallas, Hayes Grier, Carter Reynolds, Aaron carpenter, Taylor Caniff, Jack and Jack, and Matthew Espinosa. If you're interested please message me back so I can add you to the list. Our first show is in Houston, Texas on September 28th. It should give you some time to decide. Please let me know as soon as you can.

Shawn's POV//
     I'm speechless.. This is amazing!!!! I get to join Magcon!! I'm totally ready for it to start so I can travel the world and meet people who support me.
I look at misty and smile. She smiles back.
"Misty we are going to Magcon!!" I say. She has a confused look on her face.
"We?" She replies.
"Yeah of course we. I'm not leaving you here alone. You're going to come with me and live my dream with me. Our dream. But only if you want to."
"Cmon lets go tell your parents and Aaliyah!!" She said grabbing the computer and motioning you to get up. I go downstairs and show my parents the email. They both smile and hug me. I can't believe this is happening. I better go email Bart back.
I begin to type in his email. I typed:
"Hey Bart it's Shawn. I got your email about Magcon and I would love to join. I just have one question. How many stops are we going to have? I really appreciate this offer. Thank you so much!!
Shawn."
I turned my head to look at Misty and she was already looking at me smiling. She grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers.
"Let's go tell my parents."
We walked next door to her house and told them about how you're going to Magcon and Misty is coming with you. They said it was okay as long as Misty was sure she wanted to. Misty nodded assuring them that she was sure she wanted to go.
"As long as I'm with Shawn I will be safe. Right Shawn?" She squeezed my hand. I nodded smiling at Misty and then her parents. We went up into Misty's room and watched some tv.
