Rain

As I sit and watch

I see the rain fall down here

onto this dead world.

Green Eyes

Within these white walls

you're emerald eyes glimmer

lonelier than stars.

The Soul (crimson and gold)

Dark as blood at dusk

but upon entering light

gold shimmers appear.

Perfect Blue

The mists and twilight

blend together and shimmer

in a perfect blue.

Cold Heart

You are like winter

so beautiful to look at

but cold to the touch.

Void

There's nothing in you

you are emptier than death

swallowed by the void...

Temporary Lives

We live lives of flesh

transient beings we are

we turn into ash.

Sorrow & Happiness

Sorrow falls in tears

like happiness in laughter

but it's not the same.

Flirtations

A low chuckle sounds

eyes teasing in the low light

you lift up my heart.

Pretty Eyes

Shinning darkly bight

of an interesting shade

I can't look away.

Cherry Blossoms Under the Moon

Bright under the moon

glowing like the falling snow

cherry blossoms fly.

Dusk

I love the deep dusk

where the world sleeps beauty wakes

it makes my heart ache.

Dark Night

Feeling the eyes watch

their presences pressing in

on this dark, dark night.

So yeah, at one point in my life around 11-13 years old for some reason I just wrote a lot of haikus. Don't know how or why that started but it did. I have a lot more where these came from so maybe more of my embarrassing pre-teen poetry will end up on here yeah?
