The Girl Of Ice

GIRL OF ICE

The white flakes of snow touch the warmth of my skin, melting at the touch. My breathe was like smoke in the air, glancing up at the sky I could see the endless fall of snow from the grey sky.

My warm skin turning ice cold from the weather that would even freeze the ice queen.

"Alice what are doing in this freezing whether, it's snowing you crazy lady!", yelled my best friend Janice.

I actually couldn't answer her question though, because I don't remember how I got outside. The last thing I remember is going to bed in the warmth of my house, before I went to sleep.

When I turned in the direction of where Janice was standing, I saw a black smoke figure of a man come up behind her. Before I could say anything, she let out an ear piercing scream of pain. The man had stabbed her from behind, drawing the knife back stabbing her repeatedly.

Her lifeless body fell to the ground in a pool of her own blood, that stained the white snow. The black figure turned his attention towards me, still holding the bloody knife.

That's when my body unfroze from where I was standing, my legs sprung into action, sprinting for my life. Since there was no trees or house in sight I just tried to put as much distance between him and I. The only thought that kept me going was the people that I held close to my heart and that I wasn't ready to die yet.

From behind me there was weird screeching sounds that sounded inhuman. My heart was thundering inside my chest and my blood ran cold in my body.

Falling over in the snow I checked behind my shoulder and saw no one behind me, there was nothing but white planes of white.

Rising from the snow I kept moving forward, but in a slower pace, trying to calm down my heart filled with horror.

After walking the endless planes of this horror full white land for what seemed to be an endless time of the unknown, I came across a frozen over lake. With a numb mind a frightened being of this lost land and not knowing what else to do, with a heavy heart I did the most stupid thing ever, but I was drawn towards it.

With my numbing cold body I walk upon the frozen lake. After taking a few steps on the lake I heard something move behind me, looking behind I saw the black figure stand at the edge of the lake.

It seemed to be muttering some words that I never heard of before. The lake start to glow a white bright colour, the sound of rushing wind invaded my ears, the higher pitch sound hurting my ears.

Quiet, everything was a deathly silent, the light dimmed slowly to a dark glow and the smell of smoke. When I opened my eyes I was no longer in the snow I was in a small storage room crowded with cleaning products.

In front of me was a wooden door, grabbing the handle I turned it, then pushed the door open.

The room I opened the door to looked like a library, books from floor to ceiling around the whole room. The only thing that looked a bit strange was the big black pot in the middle of the room, the contents of the pot was blaring on fire.

The black smoke figure than entered the room and on impulse I threw the first thing near me, a book. The black figure swore a few words before looking at the book that hit him in the head than at me.

"Now why the hell did you hit me with a book" creepy man said.

"Well first you killed my best friend, you chased after me and than you somehow bought me here", I said with a hit of frustration and fear.

"Well sorry for saving you, your highness, I was just doing my job", the black figure said.

At his words I had my mouth falling to the ground, because I was no Royal and I don't know who this guy was.

As if reading my mind he answered my thoughts, " well you might not know this but you're actually the royals lost child that was kidnapped and a young age. I've found you last week and have been protesting you from the people that kidnapped you and tried killing you", he said calmly.

I was freaking out so much that I felt sick to the stomach and my brain was on overload from all this news and information that I just found out. Black dots were invading  my vision, my balance swaying, everything went black and I was out like a light.

When I awake from my fainting session of freaking out, I was some where else with higher ceilings. Sitting up I waited for the uneasiness to leave my head, before check out my surroundings to figure out where the hell I am.

"Hello! Anyone here?", I yelled out since I didn't want to try walking around and landing on my face, cause that wouldn't help with my situation of health.

A tall man at six feet with short black hair, wearing a butler outfit entered the room, walking towards me. "It's good to see your awake princess, I have told your parents about you being awake, they should be arriving soon. So please stay in the bed and wait for your parents to come, princess", the guy said before leaving once again.

Well this is definitely confusing for my brain to take in at such short notice, I think I'll lay back down.

Just when I made myself comfortable on the bed, the door opened again. The sound of heels on tiles echoed through the room, getting louder the closer the person came.

"Alice! My daughter, your alright now", a lady said, lunging herself at me, engulfing me in a hug.

I was soon released from the hug, being able to breathe once again. Looking at the last in front of me I noticed that she looked exactly like me, but older.

My parents introduced themselves and explained the whole story to me, about what happened to me. We got to know each other as well, I stayed with them for five months. I learned everything and got to know my real parents, I also found out I could control ice.

Controlling ice had ran through the royal family of this world, I did some princess lessons too, they were a pain. But I became a princess of this world, I didn't feel at home though, so I went back to Earth. There I became a doctor and surrounded my self with great people. When I had the time I visited the palace and my parents.

Oh and that black figure guy, I later found out that it was I butler that I meet when I woke up in the palace for the first time.
