Something Else
Prologue
Charm Point of View
He's never noticed me before.
Ever!
Actually he still hasn't noticed me.
Graduation is in four days, and in my head since freshmen year I thought we would be together and graduate together and be in love.
The True Geek- Jock love story.
Well now I realize that my life is not a teen fiction love story.
It's something else. Reality.
Clearly if my life was a book I would have ended up with the man I have been crushing on since my freshman career.
All of these teen fiction romance novels have amped up my brain to unrealistic thoughts of how love occurs in the real world.
He has never noticed me and I'm pretty sure after high school I won't see him again.
I blinked a couple times noticing that I had been daydreaming as the school bell rang For students to return from lunch to their class.
I grabbed my side bag off the table and walked out the library.
I have no idea why I had stopped to Day dream about Arti in the Library, I just came to return a couple of books I had burrowed the week prior that I needed to return.
Maybe I was daydreaming about him because the last teen fiction I read the girl ended up happy with her High school sweet and they married and had eight kids.
While I can't even manage a simple Hello to my crush without my heart beating so fast that it cuts my vocals off.
I have no idea why I was in school today, the seniors, well mostly the Female seniors went to purchase their outfits or get their hair done for graduation.
So, basically I was one fifth of the girls in attendance today.
I went in to my last class and smiled at my English teacher- my uncle. I had promised him I would help him file and clean out things he didn't need anymore. - That's the only reason I showed up to class instead of going home after my last period and because Mr.Cedric is my uncle.
"Good afternoon Charm," Mr. Cedric greeted me and I smiled at him.
"Hi sir," I replied, placing my bag on the desk near the door.
I wasn't gonna say , Hi Uncle. We are in school I had to be respectful.
" It's just me and you today Charm. I'm pretty sure no one else is coming to class today, so let's et to filing and throwing away paper shall we." He said clapping his hands together and moving around his desk to a stack of paper.
" These are garbage." He said, throwing the papers in a black giant garbage bag. He went along throwing papers away that where stacked across the desk in front of his.
" Okay, these." He said stopping in front of the last desk that had two tower long papers stacks." I need you to file them."
"Alright. Are they in ABC order and set up in block ?" I questioned.
He scratched the top of his head, " No, that's why I need your help Charm. I already started this is all I have left."
My eyes widen.
That's a lot, it doesn't look like he did shit. He probably did, and I'm sur there must of been two other stacks, but sheesh that was a fucking lot of papers.
