I honestly couldn't think of a good name for this chapter so... if you think of a better name I could've use tell me so I can facepalm! xD
*Mitch's POV (Didn't expect that, did ya? :D)*
I gritted my teeth as I heard the footsteps of Alicia walk up the steps to the roof. Her name is just so familiar... But I don't know who she is. When she opened the door, she was frowning. That must mean good news for us. "So, I have decided to move you to prison cells. Why? Because cops are going to try to come up here, so you might as well be hidden." Hidden. I don't like that word. Why? I feel like my mind is hiding something from me, something so crucial and secretive that it must be hidden from me. "So, I have to do this." She pulled out a taser and walked over to Jerome. She turned it on and zapped Jerome, knocking him out. He did the same with Adam, then approached me. She smiled and showed her teeth. They were sharp and dripped blood. There were pieces of flesh stuck in between her teeth. I closed my eyes, unable to look at her. Then, she zapped me and I passed out.
~o~O~o~
I woke up lying on the cold, hard ground (insert Taylor Swift or a screaming goat here). I looked at my surroundings and saw a bunk bed, a bucket, a small, rusty faucet, and Jerome, who was sitting on the floor and burying his head in his arms. "I'm stuck in a cell with my lover who doesn't even remember me. That's because I failed him. I couldn't make Mitch remember. I'm sorry." I heard Jerome mutter. He suddenly pulled out a little blade, prepared to cut. I can't let that happen.
"STOP!" He looked up.
"Why should I? Why would you care? You don't even know who I am!" Tears started to drip down his cheeks.
"Jerome-"
"DONT SAY MY NAME! I'm the only one that remembers. Having somebody say my name just brings more pain; it just makes my heart shatter even more. Please, just leave me alone." I just stood there, refusing to leave. A part of me told me to stay, to stay and protect him. "JUST LEAVE!" I sat down next to him. He turned to me, his eyes filled with sadness. I wanted to remember what Jerome was talking about. I just couldn't stand to see Jerome like that.
"If I have to go, at least let me do one thing."
"And what is that?" Our eyes locked together. I had to do this, I had to give Jerome what he wanted. Jerome dripped the razor. So, I leaned in, and kissed him on the lips. It felt so... amazing. I felt my cheeks become hot. I also felt things pouring into my mind, like in remembering something. When we pulled away, everything came flooding back into my mind. Meeting Jerome, running away from Sky's dad with Jerome, living with Jerome, finding Sky and Ty with Jerome, trying to protect Jerome from Alicia, and dying with Jerome. I remembered it all, from birth to death. But none of those memories were as good as the ones with Jerome in it.
"My bacca with a bandaged shoulder," I cooed. "I love you."
Jerome smiled and his eyes sparkled. He blushed, too. "You remember me!" He squealed. "I love you, Mitch! I love you, i love you, I LOVE YOU!" We kissed again, and I have never felt happier.
*Sky's POV*
I slowly opened my eyes, groaning as I sat up on the ground.
"So, your finally awake." A familiar voice spoke. A girl was sitting on the bottom bunk of a bunk bed, and she smiled at me. "I missed you." Then, I realized who she was. Alexa. (YOU HAPPY MY IRL FRIEND ALEXA?!?! ARE YOU HAPPY NOW!?! xD)
"H-how?" I asked. "And who exactly are you?!"
"An old friend. But if you find out, it will hurt. And I don't want you to be hurt."
