Stella

As I place the coffee in front of him, he doesn't raise his eyes from the laptop screen. I put the washed glass in table, fill it with water and left the room to fetch some files which need to be signed by him. When I returned the coffee is still untouched. Its unusual. I know how much he loves coffee; it should be bottom down by now. Has he changed so much? May be, he no longer crave for coffee.

I didn't know I was staring until he looked up and frowned. I quickly response

"These files need to be signed" He indicates the left side of his table to put the files. How someone can make other feel so small just by gesture. As I proceed, he took a sip from the mug and froze. His face hardens.

"Who made this coffee?" His loud and urgent tone made me stiff.

"Me." I said scarcely. "Anything wrong? Let me change it. I will make another one for you right away."

"NO. It's perfect. Just the way I love."

He looks at me in a completely different way, as he just got aware of my existence. His face as well mood has lightened up. He sits back and sip his coffee happily with a smile on his face.

"Well, have you worked anywhere else before?"

"No. I have just completed my graduation."

"Hmm. I see. What you know about your job?"

"Nothing much Sir."

"Hm. You have to accompany my every meeting and conference. Take records of my meetings. Set or schedule my appointments."

"Okay, sir."

"Another thing, you have to understand my signs. As we will attend many meetings sometimes you need to act instantly to handle the situation, understanding my point."

I stare blankly to him.

"Don't worry. You will start to understand very soon Miss Green."

"Call me Stella."

"Ok. Now take this file and go through it. We have a meeting after two hours. I want you prepared."

"Okay sir." I take the file and walk toward the door. As I opened the door, he said from the back,

"Miss Green!"

I turned. "Yes sir?"

"Can you make me another coffee?" Holding the empty mug he tightens his lip as if hiding a small.

I nod and went back to take the mug.

"Thank you." He said with big smile just like happy kid with a full box of ice-crème.

I left the room with a smile. He hasn't changed completely, still the same adorable as he was.
