Chapter One

Charlotte's P.O.V.

"Vikram Barns, where are you?" I ask annoyed at my older brother.

"Charlotte, I told you we left late," Vikram said trying to stay calm.

"Vikram, I told you my flight landed at 11:52. It's now," I take my phone away from my ear and look at the clock. "12:48.?

"I understand the Charlotte and we are almost there," He says taking in a big breath.

"Okay, you keep saying 'we'. Who is we?" I ask taking a seat on the nearest bench.

"I brought Kay and Simon. They were bored and I wasn't going to leave Kay by herself in the house with those dickheads." Vikram says.

I hear a faint hey from the phone.

"Vikram, be nice please," I see Vikram's car pull up so I stand.

Vikram, Kay and I'm guessing Simon get of the car.

"Kay!" I running giving her the biggest hug I can.

"I missed you Char!" Kay said giving me one last squeeze before letting go.

I turn to Simon, just to piss off Vikram even more.

"You must be Simon. I'm Charlotte," I say taking a bow.

"Well it's nice to meet you," He says smiling.

"Well are you ready to-"

"Hello?"

"Oh hi! I didn't know you were here!" I say with the biggest smile.

"Love you too, Charlotte," Vikram says looking down.

"I'm kidding! I missed you so much!" I say pulling Vikram into a hug.

"How was dance school?" He asked pulling away and taking Kay's hand.

"Barf," I say looking at their hands. "Vikram you know how much I hate PDA."

"That's because you've never been in a relationship," He said smiling.

"Not true I've been in-"

"You call him Vikram!" Simon bends over laughing.

"That's his name isn't it?" I say putting my hand on my hip.

"Well yeah, but everyone calls him Vik."

"I can call my brother what I want thank you, Simon," I drag his name.

"I still can't believe your siblings, you look nothing alike," Simon says looking between the two of us.

"Charlotte was a-"

"It's a long story, another time. Let's go please I'm tired." I say grabbing my suit case.

"Okay," Simon says unsure.

As we walk to the car Kay and Simon go into a conversation I stay behind with Vikram.

"Why didn't you want to say you were adopted?" Vikram said turning to me.

"I don't know; I've only known him for like twenty minutes. Another night, okay?"

"Okay, I missed you so much," Vikram says pulling me into a side hug.

"Charlotte, we're home," Vikram says shaking my shoulder.

"Go away Vikram, I cba to move," I say not moving.
