"Simon you apparently have cancer..." He says his eyes looking everywhere except me. "You have cancer...lung cancer and there is a very slight chance you'll make it-" Josh says his voice breaking at the end. I'm shocked, I knew lung cancer was common in my bloodline but I would've never assumed I would be diagnosed.
"Josh..do the boys know?" I ask him trying to take in the terrible information. He just shakes his head yes, "They do, they are actually just outside the door. Everyone is actually.. Freezy, Lux, Emily, Talia and even Manny." Josh says while looking towards the door.
"We are all so scared Simon. We can't lose you. I can't lose you." He quietly says the last part while shifting his gaze from the door to the ground. I freeze, I just stare at him not knowing what to say. Am I dreaming?
