Hello, everyone. My name is Elizabeth. I am sixteen years old. I was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma when I was 11, It is a type of bone cancer that is the most common cancer found in teenagers and pre-teens. My best friends name is Dustin. I get along with him way better than I ever could a girl. Since we started high school three years ago I have actually grown to have quite the crush on him. I don't want him to worry about me or treat me differently because of my condition, so I have not made the move to tell him about my cancer or my crush yet.

Let me tell you a little bit about my body and my style. I really want you all to get to know me very well. I have a pretty slim type body. They only bigger part about me is my thighs and behind (LOL). I am usually found wearing converse, ripped skinny jeans, and a t-shirt. It usually has one of my favorite bands on it. I like anything from One Direction to Panic! at the Disco and Sleeping with Sirens. I would consider myself a tomboy, even though I love to do my makeup. When I was younger I was a complete tomboy. I would always be climbing in trees and playing football at recess with the boys at school. I always had calluses on my hands and feet and I was scraped up somewhere. I couldn't do those things anymore when I was diagnosed with cancer, so I had to get into some other maybe girlier things. Such as makeup, poetry, and chick flicks.

I moved to London England with my foster family about three years ago. The economy and all of the turmoil in the United States caused us to move here. My foster family is fairly large. My "parents" have 5 other children. My biological parents were into drugs and partying more than taking care of my little sister and myself. My little sister is 12 now. Her name is Shelby. We get along okay, she is just a lot more girly than I am. I am just glad that we didn't get separated while making our way to our forever family. I don't really associate myself with the other children much.

I met Dustin on my first day of freshmen year. I had just moved to a new country and it was my first year in high school. I was absolutely terrified. He took me under his wing and showed me the way around. He is in the same grade and I am, but he just turned 17. We hang out all the time. On the weekends we are always together going to the beach or the movies or just hanging out at home. I want to tell Dustin about my cancer and my crush on him. How will I do this? Will he treat me differently?
