Damon POV
Everything was falling apart. Elena can't make a choice between Stefan and I, still holding us in her clutches. Metaphorically. The Originals are becoming pests, frequently threatening us with this or that; my brother and I's relationship is on the cliffs. My best friend is dead. I don't want to go on like this. I should just pack my bags and leave.
'''''''MYSTIC GRILL'''''''
I was sitting at the bar (as usual) when suddenly it felt as if my insides were clenching and twisting. My throat constricted and even though I had no need for oxygen, I was used to breathing. I was in agony on the floor, writhing like a fish out of water. Gathering up my last strength, I sped as fast and as far as I could until the pain subsided. When I opened my eyes, I saw the 'Welcome To Mystic Falls' sign. I felt fine outside of the town borders, with the exception of sore organs. My throat felt a little hoarse. Looking around me, I see I was not the only one effected, neither was I the only one that made it to safety outside of the town. I saw the familiar faces of the rest of the supernatural beings residing in Mystic Falls. Even Bonnie. That's weird
"What the bloody hell was that, mate?!" Kol exclaimed/asked. Silence followed when he was done. Probably because no one knew what the hell just happened.
"Are you alright?" I asked Bonnie. She was in a terrible state. The pain was excruciating for me as a vampire, a being that healed, Bonnie didn't have healing abilities.
"Where are you going?" Rebekah called after her retreating brother's back.
"To find answers!" was his simple reply.
"Looks like it's the end of residing in Mystic Falls for the supernatural." was my simple statement before I sped away into the oblivion.
