It was colder night. Everything seemed to change. I felt empty and alone.
We fought together and we suffered together. But you were right by me, and I was right by you.

So, it was fine.

Years later you found her. You brought her with you home. I told you it wasn't safe it was dangerous,but you told me not to worry. She will become one of us.

So, it was fine.

I loved you and you loved me but they were both different kinds of love. I had feelings for you and you didn't know. But as long as you were there besides me...

It was fine.

Then you met him. I saw how he looked at you. I saw how you looked at him. But I knew he would be gone soon.

So...it was fine...

That day you walked up to me. You told me you would be gone soon but still here, just in a different way. You said this was what would make you happy. I respected that.

So it was...fine.

Now your not here. You left me, you left them, you left us.

You are...gone...

But if you are happy...

I guess it's fine.

Oh my gosh I saw this comic on tumbler and it just gave me the perfect idea for this one shot. It's called story for pearl and it's basically just like this short story. Hope you enjoyed!
