.....the doctor walked in, he looked at me with his brown eyes. There was no life in them, only a secret hidden behind them, like they were closed doors waiting to be opened.I knew something wasn't right. "Hello Mr. Anderson, how are you feeling?" He asked with a fake smile. I could tell it was fake, he tried to hide his pain by this, smile? No it wasn't a smile, it was more of a border so no one could see the real misery he was in.
"My family, where are they?" I said trying to hold back my tears. " Caleb, your family.......they....all passed away,I..--NO." Tears found there way down my cheeks....."They can't be" my chest began to feel heavy I couldn't take it anymore. "Please tell me this is a joke." "Caleb your family passed away in the car accident this is no joke."
"Why am I here?I don't deserve to live!get out please, I would like to be alone." I choked, my body holding in the tears that were auguring to be let out. "The nurses will come check up on you later. I will leave you be." He said calmly as he walked out of the room, I started bawling. This...this can't be happening, it has to be a dream. I cried my self to sleep.
I woke up, pain rushed through me. My family why them, why did they have to die? I break out in tears."I hate everyone, I want them back that's all I want." I hear screams coming from the room next to me. It was a girl, she was crying?I wonder why she's crying?is she okay?I ask to myself, what.....what if she was the one in the van we.....we hit. The memory of the accident runs through my head.
"Mr Anderson, hello and how are you doing today?" The nurse asked "I'm fine, who is the girl next to me?" I asked with an uneasy voice. "I can't tell you." "Please" I look up at her as a tear streamed down my face. "fine but don't tell anyone I told you, she's the girl your family hit in the car accident." " where's her family?" " they unfortunately didn't make it, everyone died except you two. Now please eat I brought you some food." " can I visit her?" "I will have to ask the doctors about that but for now please eat."she walked out of my room closing the door behind her. The food looked awful but I was starving so I ate it. All I could think about was the girl, was she okay? I yawned and fell asleep from all the crying.
