Alex stared down her target, sweat dripped from her forehead. She needed a drink but this came first. This was her last knife and she needed to get it in the centre otherwise all of this training had been for nothing. She took one stride and threw it, the knife went too quick to be nervous about it, but landed dead centre. She wiped her fringe out her face and smiled, her green eyes shimmered with delight as she took a sip of her water.
Brooke walked up with a spring in her step. "Whoa,you're good!" She smiled at Alex.
Elysium headed down to the archery range after a nice long horse ride. Sometimes horses were skitterish around her, but her pegasus,Skeeter, was the best. She jogged toward the archery range where two other people were talking about a knife that Alex hit dead center. She told the two: "Woah nice shot!Since you're already great at this, try the moving archery targets." Alex smiled, "Thanks," she murmured, walking over to her target and pulling each knife out. "I've been here for a year, you learn how to work a knife..."she trailed off and licked her chapped lips. "Which reminds me, it's capture the flag tonight and my best bet is on the Hecate cabin's team!", she smiled, "even if we aren't allowed to use magic..."Alex turned to Elysium and said "Will you bet? "I will," Elysium said raising an eyebrow. "Wanna bet if I can get one of them dead centre," she smiled, "first try!"
