There once was a magic tree that lived in a magic forest. A wise witch had enchanted the tree, making it give off anything anyone could ask for, one only needed to wish for what they desired. The only catch was the tree could only give off 100 wishes before she would turn into a pricier bush. The witch told the tree that she could have the last wish if she so chooses. The tree accepted that responsibility, but was excited nevertheless.
On one sunny afternoon, a farmer happened to be strolling by this tree after a long day of tending to the field. He was parched and wished aloud for a cool glass of water. The tree granted his wish witch delight. The farmer took the glass; and gave some to the tree, as she looked a little dry. The farmer thanked the tree and continued about his day.
The next day an explorer was trekking through the woods for quite some time before he stumbled upon the tree. The explorer was ever so famished from his tiring journey, that he wished aloud for the most sweetest Apple. The explorer got what he had wished for and tosses the core aside without a care in the world. Soon many people in the town had hers about this magnificent tree, and wished for many sweet treats, foods, and riches. The tree was getting very tired, but did not want to disappoint the towns people. So she gave them whatever they had wanted.
When the tree had one last wish left, a little girl had been walking by. The tree had thought she was crying and had asked what was wrong. The little girl told the tree that her mother was dying and needed help. The tree did not want her to be sad anymore so she told the girl to wish for some medicine. The girl was confused but did what she was told. The tree had granted her wish. The little girl was about to thank the tree, but all she could find was a pricker bush.
