As Diella walked me in, I looked around. Nice hive, I thought. The bottom two-thirds of the walls were made of uneven stacked stones, while the top third was made of wooden panels. As I followed her down the hall, we came to a sitting room. There was a large window with a beautiful view of the garden, attached to which was a cushioned bench. There were also two intricately patterned couches, and a matching chair by the fireplace, above which hung a painting of her symbol, which looked sort of like an angular butterfly with diamond shaped wings. It was some shade of blue... Lapis, maybe? In the middle of the room sat a wooden coffee table, and on it sat a delicately carved metal statuette of a butterfly. I'm guessing she likes butterflies... Diella herself had her hair pulled back into a ponytail, presumably to avoid getting leaves or things in her hair; it seemed like she enjoyed gardening. Her horns stuck out from the top left and right of her head, were short and curved slightly inward. She had freckles spread across her cheekbones and nose. She looked down at me as I sat, "Would you like something to eat, Falena?" My stomach growled, and she smiles, "I guess that answers my question, then! What would you like?" I answered, "Do you have any... Pie?" She nodded. "Is there any specific kind you want?" This blue blood is being suspiciously nice to me, I thought. Regardless, I responded with a smile, "Apple, please!" She nodded and went off to get it, soon returning with a small pie. The rest of the night went by fairly normally; I talked with Diella a bit, and soon my suspicion was long gone. Then I had dinner, and insisted on sleeping on the couch instead of her cocoon (or the extra cocoon she had for reasons unknown, for that matter).
