The next morning a police officer came into my room to ask me some questions about why and how did i get into a coma and all that. I didint want to tell him what had really happend to me and that he would take me away from my mother forever, even though that would be the only thing that could save my life i felt like i had to be with my mother for some reason.
"Kaime, please, I just want to make sure that you will be safe. There is no way in my life will i go to sleep at night knowing something is happening to you and i could of done something about it. If you tell me whats really going on in your life i can make sure this never happens again and you wont ever have to see your mom again." I finally relized what would happen if i didint tell him, so many beatings, trips to the hostspital and even worse than i can imagine so, I told him.....
After everything that was said he looked at me astounded by all the things she has done to me he quickly went to the police station. I'd thought i would never see him again until one day.. I can still remember after all these years the day the pain finally stopped. It was June 21 1997 and he came into the door with my mother in handcuffs staring at me with hate. I turned to the police officer and he said. "Your finally free."
