My Guardian Dragon

Screams▫️ Chapter 13

(I'm sorry this is short. I also have an announcement. I won't be able to update any of my stories this Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I am very, deeply sorry. Also, I decided to change your age for now on. You are now 24 instead of 21. I know, big difference.)

~Y/n's POV~

My eyes fluttered open as I slowly woke up. My head was pounding. I tried to bring my hand to my forehead, but something kept my hand above me. I looked about and saw that both of my wrists were chained to the wall, my feet were hanging three feet above the ground. I looked around the dark room. It was pretty bland.

My head snapped up to look at the wall next to me when I heard a loud, familiar sound. "D/N!" I yell out to roaring dragon. She roared again, more happily. I took that as she was happy I was okay. "I'M OKAY! WE'LL GET OUT OF HERE!" I yell to her as I try to free my wrists.

I felt a shock run through out my body. I scream in pain. "You shouldn't try to escape." The man from before said to me as he entered the room. My eyes were shut as I hissed in pain. "Let...us go." I pleaded weakly as I could still feel the faint shocks running through me.

"No. Both of you are far too important. We were going to get rid of you on the spot, but you're the only one that can control that beast." He said as he waved his hand dismissively.

"What did you just call her?" I growl. "Who? That thing? A beast." He said with a smirk. "SHUT UP! SHE ISN'T A BEAST! SHE'S MY FRIEN-" I was cut off by another shock. I let out an ear piercing scream. "And don't fight back. It's very annoying and you will just get shocked again." He said when suddenly another man, slightly younger looking, walked in and whispered something in his ear.

The man rolled his eyes and turned back to me as the younger man left again. "Fine. You will get a cell, instead of in here. We need this room for another prisoner." He said as he touched something on a table. I suddenly fell to the floor. The man grabbed a chunk of my hair and dragged me out of the room.

Another man approached us and latched cuffs onto my wrists. "Don't try anything. Those cuffs have the shock on them too." He said as he pushed me into another cell. I crawled over to a corner and wrapped my arms around my knees. I began silently crying.

I paused when I heard d/n. I turned and saw this slight window in the wall. On the other side, I could see d/n, who was looking back at me. I scramble to my legs and run over to the door.

(Pretend there is no glass and just the bars.)

I try to reach through and pet her but another shock was activated. I fell back as the pain started to slowly fade away. I closed my eyes and let unconsciousness take over.

~Time Skip~

I slowly sat up. My head was pounding again. I leaned against the wall, next to the barred window. "I'm sorry d/n." I say as I wrap my arms around my knees and bury my face as I cry.

(This is what I mean.)

"It's all my fault." I say in between sobs. D/n gave a little sound that sounded as if she was disagreeing with me. This just made me cry even harder. It reminded me of toothless and Hiccup.

"I'm sorry Hiccup. This might just be the last time I see you." I say as I try to choke back a sob.

Suddenly, we heard a large explosion go off. "Sir! The base is being attacked. It's the Avengers!" A man yelled as he ran by. I wiped my tears. "D-d/n. Show them we are here." I whispered. D/n nodded and let out a loud roar. Loud enough for the Avengers to hear. "D/n. We have to get out of here." I say as I crawl over to the window.

She nodded and walked closer to it. "Can you let out a plasma ball?" I asked. She shook her head and showed me a large brace around her neck. "It shocks you?" I ask. She nodded. I grew angry. "D/n. I have an idea." I told her. She perked up.

"Come closer to the window." I said and she did so. "This might hurt, but it will hurt me more than you." I say and before d/n could pull away I push my arms through the bars and grasp her neck cuff. As the shock ran through my body, and as I screamed in pain, the shock also affected the neck cuff she was wearing. It was now fried.

D/n looked at me stunned at what I had done as I still screamed. She shot a plasma ball at the wall, allowing her to get into my cell. She shot a tiny plasma ball at my cuffs, frying them. She then crouched next to me, allowing me to climb on her back. I was still very weak.

She flew out of the building. As we neared where the Avengers were fighting, I slipped off her back as I became unconscious again.

~3rd Person~

D/n roared as she plunged down and grabbed y/n in her front legs. She wrapped her wings around them and turned so her back would it the ground and y/n would be left unharmed. D/n then fell unconscious too, from the impact.
