"Ouch... Ah... It... It hurts!"
"Just hang on a moment. I'm almost done..."
"Hurry up! I c-can't take the pain anymore!"
"You know... if you say stuff like that... people might get the wrong idea..."
The blonde boy finished washing your deep cut and put his wash cloth away. You sighed, wiping your tears, thankful that the pain was submitting. He sighed, his beautiful blue eyes growing happier now that you were alright.
"There it's all better now. Just don't move so much", he warned.
"Yes Len... I'm sorry. I tripped and-"
"I already know what happened! I was there, remember?"
"Oh yeah... sorry." You gave a small laugh and rubbed your eyes.
You were running in the park with Kagamine Len, your best friend since your toddler years. You remember playing tag with him till you fell on the woodchips, which punctured your knee. It hurt but Len was nice enough to carefully bring you home. You were ten and he was 11 back when that happened...
His mother baby-sat you since you were born so the ___(last name)____ and the Kagamine's were close family friends. You even considered yourself his sibling. Of course Len had a twin older sister who you loved and talked with every now and then. And when the two troublesome duo had a fight, you would be the peace-maker and help them make up. You were their favorite "sibling" no doubt.
Len patted your head and lead you into his home. His mother didn't know of the wound you had gotten yet. Len's sister, Rin was sitting on the couch, drinking orange juice until she saw you, hands full of dirt and wood chips, and face red from crying.
"Oh my gosh! Are you okay!?" The blonde girl put down her orange juice and walked over to you.
"I fell in the park... I'm all better now. I have a Band-Aid on my booboo."
"Let's go wash your hands and then I'll pour you some orange juice, okay?"
You nodded your head and smiled. You've been in the Kagamine's house for so long; you started to develop a love for yellow and orange colored fruit like the twins...
You washed your hands as Rin dusted off the dirt on your clothes.
"_________? Who put the Band-Aid on you?"
"Len did. It hurt a lot but then it felt better..." you smiled an innocent one.
You dried your hands with the towel Rin had given you.
"Thank you, Rin-Chan. I love you", you said, hugging her surprisingly.
"I love you too." She smiled, fixing her bow after she hugged you.
Rin had always been so kind. You talked about everything together and played video games with one another. She was certainly more bossy and loud then Len but also very strong willed and kind.
You both sat on the couch till Len ran up to both of you.
"You gotta come outside! C'mon!"
"Eh!?"
You and Rin followed Len outside to their huge backyard. Near their flower garden, caterpillars that were in their cocoon, began to sprout, turning into beautiful purple butterflies!
You and your 'siblings' looked at them in awe! They were so pretty. The three of you watched and chased the butterflies that hatched till Len decided that you all should just watch them instead of scaring the heck out of them. One landed on Len's right shoulder calmly, unafraid of him. You smiled and were a bit jealous that the butterfly had liked him so much.
You looked at Rin and saw that one had landed on her left shoulder... How strange...
You guys continued playing till you got tired and your knee started hurting again.
Now three years have passed. Your big 'brother and sister' were already in the 8th grade as you were in the 7th. You knew all of the twin's friends and activities and they knew yours. Whenever they went somewhere with their friends, they somehow made an exception for you to come along.
You loved them. They were your family.
Then that day happened....
