Dust.

That's all that was left.

The underground, empty.

Dust was all that remained of your friends.

Papyrus, Undyne, Alphys, even Sans, the strongest monster you knew and your best friend.

Dead.

You fell to your knees as you held San's jacket to your chest. Tears flooded out of your eyes like faucets.

"I'm sorry! It's my fault! I'm so sorry!" Your cries echoed throughout the now empty Snowdin town. You shut your eyes in disbelief.

"This can't be real!" You thought to yourself. You felt like dying, but you knew you couldn't. Your determination wouldn't let you. Every world has a Frisk, and you were this worlds'. Letting the salty tears stream down your face, you stared at the ground, scolding yourself. "It's my fault, I did this! If only I was brave enough to fight Asgore, none of this would've happened!"
Sobbing quietly, you heard a voice.

"Hey. Don't cry. Things may look bad now, but it'll get better! I promise!"
You looked up and saw someone kneeling. He looked like Sans, but shorter. He had a sash holding tiny vials of paint, a splatter of ink on his left cheek and what seemed to be an enormous paintbrush on his back.

"Wh-who're you?" You managed to choke out through the tears.
"My name is Ink. I saw that this AU was in chaos and I came to help, but I guess I was too late." He looked sad when he said that last sentence.

"Are there any others?" Ink asked.
"N-no. I'm the only one left."
"You must be so lonely. Stand up." He held out his hand and helped you up. He was short compared to your Sans. So short, even the paintbrush he carried was bigger than him.

"Cheer up! It'll get better!" Ink beamed.
"I want to find whoever did this. I want to find who did this to my friends." You said, another tear falling down your cheek.
"Well, why don't you come back with me to the Doodle Sphere? You can help me protect other AUs from this fate!" He gave you a wide smile. You grinned back at him. Protect other worlds? Maybe, if you could help others from seeing this, you could feel better about yourself.

"Okay. I'll try." You said, wiping away your tears.
"Great! I know we'll be friends in no time! By the way, what's your name? Only UnderTale has a human named Frisk, so what is it?"
"It's (Y/N)." You told him. He smiled wider. He held your hand as he guided you into the Doodle Sphere.

With Ink around, your sadness disappeared. Since that day, you helped him protect the AUs. Your favorites to visit were UnderFresh, DreamTale and UnderFell. You loved hanging out with all the AUs, except maybe UnderLust or UnderBoob, but Fresh and Dream became two of your best friends. Freshs' ability to talk in 90's lingo but still be scary at times was funny to you, Dreams' ability to bring positivity and happiness anywhere he went was amazing and since you were kinda dark and edgy at times, made you and Fell pretty close too. Once, you accidentally made the mistake of asking Fresh how his parasite worked. You didn't change back for about a week, which is the longest anyone's ever been possessed. Let's just say, it made things awkward between you and Fell. You never all hung out together, though. Dream would think Fresh was a walking rainbow and keep bugging him about it and Fell just doesn't like anyone. He'd probably just sit in a corner the entire time plotting on how to kill them. Brutally. Then brag to Boss.

Even though you had your other friends, Ink was your closest. He helped you when your AU was destroyed, he talked to you when no one else would and he was the best art teacher. As promised, you helped him defend the AUs. One time, UnderSwap was infested with Fresh parasites. Fresh claimed that he was just having fun, but he didn't talk to you for about a week after you cleared out the virus. There was another incident in AfterTale where Geno somehow got out of the save screen and almost fully melted. Luckily, Ink was able to get him back before that could happen.

Even though you spend most of your time in other AUs, the Doodle Sphere was always your home. But there was one thing that always bugged you. Every AU was written on pieces of paper. But there was one paper almost hidden from sight. It read "The AntiVoid". You've never heard of any AU like that. You asked Ink to visit it once, but he warned you to never go there. What was even weirder was that it had the word "ERROR" written all over it. The other AUs also had a word displayed saying what condition it was in and its inhabitants. The AntiVoid was blank.

As you walked out of a portal from UnderFresh, you saw a worried look on Ink's face.
"(Y/N)! It's important!" He cried.
"Sorry Fresh, I gotta go. See ya on the flipside!"
"Catch ya later, brah!" Fresh waved before you shut the portal with a small paint brush Ink had given you.

"What is it?" You ran over to him.
"It's UnderSwap! Something's not right!" The paper that read "UnderSwap" was barely legible. Letters rearranged themselves. When they finished, almost everything seemed normal.
"Oh no." Ink gasped.
"What is it?"
"Sans is gone."
He was right. Right where BlueBerry's name should be, that's his nickname, there was only one word.
