Minmin fell onto the ground after dancing for their debut song. Her face, powdered with sweat, and her legs, weak and sore.
The young girl got up as she heard a ring from her bag in the corner. Being too lazy to get up, she rolled across the dirty floor, leaving a trail of sweat. Rei gave a lowkey disgusted look.
Minako, Minmin's actual name, reached into her duffel bag and took out her phone. She smiled as she read the recent text message of Mark.
Hope you're doing well, Min. Wish I was there to hug you and comfort you.
Minmin playfully scoffed before replying back.
You're lame. But I wish you were here too..
She rolled her eyes at the cheesiness as she turned off her phone and sat by the wall.
"We're finally going to debut," Alex muttered to everyone, stretching. The room was now awfully quiet. After many years, they would finally debut. All of that hard training and long nights were engraved in each of the girls' soul.
"Aigoo, what time is it?" Ari asked, changing the subject as she played with Kat's hair. Minmin, being the closest to her phone, checked the time.
"1:46 A.M," she replied. Emi stood up from where she was sitting. "All right, girls! Let's go back to the dorm!" She announced, being all giddy and cheerfully for them. Truth was, she was tired. Training the longest, and being the eldest, not to mention being the leader.
"Come on, you guys. Let's go. We should go to sleep as soon as possible," Kat ordered the older girls. The other girls looked at each other before scrambling towards the youngest, hugging and cuddling her.
"Aww, our maknae is so cute!" Ari beamed, rubbing her cheek against Kat.
"Look at our maknae telling us what to do! So adorable," Sol said, wrapping her hands tightly around the waist of the maknae.
The teasing kept coming and coming before Kat wiggled and protested her way out. "Yeah, yeah, yeah! I get it, let me out!"
The room erupted into giggles and laughter, something that they all needed. "Our maknae is right! Let's go back," Alex said, wrapping her arm around Minmin's.
After grabbing all of their items, they all left the practice room. Halfway there, Emi stopped.
"Oh my god.." she mumbled to herself.
The girls turned around in confusion. "What was that, Eunnie?" Ari asked, tilting her head in confusion.
Emi panicked as she spoke her next words. "I-uh.. forgot to get something. Yeah! Uh, go on without me! I have to go and get my sweater," she lied, running back to the practice room.
When she couldn't be seen anymore, they continued to walk to the dorm. Rei whispered to Mei and the others. "She's totally going to meet up with her boyfriend."
