I know what I'm doing is against my religion and my culture but I don't care. I couldn't help the fact I couldn't keep my hands off this girl, there was something about her that made me so addictive that I can't lay my finger on. I held onto her all night in the back of my dad old pick up truck, until the sky became fading with midnight. I gently shook her to let her know it was time for us to be apart once again, she gave me a slight body movement and whinnying type of attitude towards me. She leaned up and pouted with her bottom lip sticking out, "Baby how long are we going to keep sneaking around like this? I hate to keep our love a secret" she said putting on her clothes. "Until my father gets over his addiction of hating blacks my love" I said helping her, "Segregation was a long ass time ago, he should just get over it that the world is changing and there's nothing he can do about it" she said hopping out of the truck. "I'll talk to him about it but I'm not promising you that he'll be happy about this" I said following her. "Well I'm not ashamed of us she said looking at me with that look again, I grabbed her hands and held them. "Babe I'm not ashamed it's just my parents wouldn't accept this","it's not about them Billy, it's about us!" She said throwing my hands off of hers, while her eyes teared up. I can tell that this was eating her up inside and that she was hurt that I was keeping our relationship a secret. I grabbed her by the waist and held her, "everything is gonna be fine, don't worry about it babe". We walked our separate ways home, and came across my dad arguing with my mom. "Dammit Martha you had to give that black man all that damn money", he said fussing at her. "What you wanted me to do, he counted it and told me I was short, I didn't know the nigger could count". I looked at them both and tried not to interact but my father notice me came in. "Where were you boy! You forgot to give the tractor gas! Another wasteful person in this got damn family. "Bart stop it! What's gotta into you!" She said trying to make his behavior simmer down. "You don't do shit! You sit on your ass and drink your life away, you're a drunk! I'll be a better man than you will ever be. Mom is out busting her ass for us, trying provide for this family and you calling us wasteful? At least I have a job you brick. "What you say to me boy?".."I said you're" before billy could finish Bart hits him with a beer bottle against his head. Billy charged into him while landing on a class table, leaving Bart unconscious for hitting his head on the medal plate on the rim of the table. "Bart!!" The mom said falling to her knees crying trying to help her husband, "Billy go! Get out of here!" She said while yelling at him. "You choose him over me? I'm your son!" Billy said with blood running down the side of his head. "Just go!" She said crying holding the man head. Billy was speechless the way his mom would choose him over her on son, he didn't react he just went into his room and grabbed a couple of things. He came out the room and grabbed his dad keys from off the counter and stormed out the house leaving them both there. Billy driven off in his dad truck hitting the main land, a couple mins passed and he finally arrived at Lisa home. He parked a few feet away from her home, Billy ran to the side of the house by the window where her room was. He knocked a few times on her window, finally she noticed him and lifted up the screen. "Babe what are you doing here" but before he could answer her she noticed the blood on his head. "Billy what happened?!" She said looking at his head, "Me and my dad got into again, and he hit me with a beer bottle" he said climbing in her window. Here sit down I'm going go get something for that cut, she left out the room. I took off my leather jacket, and my boots.. She came back in locking the door behind her, "Babe this the second time he done did something like this to you" she said pouring alcohol on a rag cleaning his cut. "Sss.. He said while it burned him "I know" I said pulling her by the hips between my legs. "You can't keep letting him do this to you, you're not a kid anymore" she said patching up his wound. He pulled her on his lap, "baby I know, you tell me this all the time"...."And I'm gonna keep telling you until you do something about it" she said looking at me. I kissed her to knowledge her of caring about me so much, it was a great feeling that someone actually cares about you. She kissed me back leaning me down towards the bed, "mhm" she moan a little getting on top of me. I held her waist while she took off her shirt, I unbuckled my pants pulling them down when we heard keys and a door closed. "Oh shit, that's Devin.. He wasn't supposed to be home until late tonight" she said whispering while rushing putting her clothes back on. "What is he doing home?" I said pulling up my pants. "I don't know" she said, suddenly they heard footsteps coming up the stairs. "Come on you gotta go" she said pushing him back to the window, were he climbed out. She threw his things out with him and gave him a kiss before leaving, "I love you Lisa Macmay he said looking at her holding his things... "I love you too Billy Fishermen" she after closing her window.
I heard voices coming from Lisa's room so I began to knock on her door, "ayye Lisa open the door" I said listening on the other side of the door. She opened it up "what?" She said looking at me strange.. "Who's in here?" I said looking around her room from the door way, "Nobody" she said opening the door more. "I thought I heard someone else in here" I said looking at her, "Well you were wrong" she said closing the door on my face while locking it. "Ayye girl!" You better quit slamming doors around here, you don't pay bills" I said walking in my room. I slammed my door "HOW YOU LIKE IT?! Huh" I slammed my door once again, "HUH, SHIT ANI'T NICE, IS IT?" I repeatedly slammed it just to get my point across.
