Falling For The Bad Boy

CHAPTER THREE

Chapter 3:

Jacob's POV

   Wow. A new girl. She is friends with my sister! How? My sister has friends already. She doesn't need more. She doesn't need to be friends with her just because she can. The new girl is okay I guess...but I don't need Lexi going around ruining my strong reputation. That girl seems nerdy...but she could be hot if I tweaked her up....A LOT. The point is that she seems nerdy, and Lexi and I hang out with cool people.

   GREAT...here comes Leslie. I hate Leslie. She is always flirting with me, when I just don't like her. She is kind of nasty too. She is always in my way, and flirting. In other words, she is the school slut, and she's obsessed with me.

   I just turn around casually. What could she want now?...besides my body. I mean, who doesn't want that though?

"Jacob, how's it going baby?" Leslie asks.

   Ugh, I hate her. She acts like we are a thing, but the truth is that I hate her and I haven't gone out with her....EVER. Okay, maybe once but I was desperate, and it was just a movie date.

"What do you want, Leslie?" I say angrily.

"I want you" she replies with a smile.

"Well, you can't have me, goodbye, Leslie!" I say.

"You can't dump me!" Leslie said, trying to start a scene.

"We were never dating!" I say.

"Oh, don't pretend like you've never wanted me." She says.

"I have wanted you..." I say. "To simply fall off a cliff.".

Then I walk away, with my lunch tray.

Katie's POV

   Math is over and now it is time for lunch. I just had a small salad. All that I wanted to do was go home and go back to sleep. My first day isn't going very well, but I did make a friend.

   When your teacher says, "Yeah...you're new? Good. Do you want to tell us anything?"

And you reply with "No, Im okay "

Apparently that is rude and you deserve to sit in the back with a guy who farts 3 times every 5 seconds.

   I saw Lexi sitting at a table with 3 other girls and two guys. Lexi motioned for me to come over, so I did.

"Katie, this is Bailey" she pointed at a pail blonde girl.
"This is Rachel" she was a really tan girl with light brown hair. "And this is Maggie" she said pointing at a pretty pail girl with black hair.

"Oh and this is my boyfreind , Jesse." He nodded.

"This is my boyfriend, Nate" Bailey said.

"It's nice to meet you guys! I'm Katie" I said.

They all smiled and waved.

   I look over at Lexie and say  Is this everyone?".
I didn't want to be rude, but I am not very good with people.

" No there is one more person, or sometimes two!" she says.

Who? What does she mean by 'sometimes two'? Oh well. Then she looked at me.

"It's my brother! Sometimes he brings a girl!" she says with a 'don't worry' face.

I nod. By brother she meant Jacob. Ugh. He is kind of cute, but I am still scared of him. I know, pathetic! In my defense, he did push me down.

   Then I noticed someone sit down by me. Oh no, it was Jacob. So, I get up, put my tray up, and went to the library. I felt someone following me so I started to run.

Jacob's POV

   She was running away from me. Jeez, that girl is fast. I need to catch her. "You can run, but you can't hide!" I yell jokingly. Then I turned the corner and didn't see her. "Dammit!" I mumble under my breath.

"Hey where did you go?" Lexi asked.

"To the bathroom!" I respond.

"Are you sure that you didn't just follow Katie?" she says.

Crap. I'm caught.

"Yes, I went to pee and I'm sure! Nerd girl is no use to me." I say.

Katie's POV

   Geez, I hid in this stupid janitor's closet, from... I don't even know who! I ran from a person and I don't even know who it was. It might of been Lexi and I ran from her! I don't know why, but I always think that someone wants to hurt me. Too much TV I guess! Well now I am going home and going to sleep.

   I don't even care abou the rest of school. I have study hall, and science. I don't NEED to go to those. I DO NEED to get some sleep, because I'm exhausted and just done with today.
