Chapter One

The sudden beeping of my alarm clock almost caused me to fall straight out of bed. I groaned loudly. Without opening my eyes, I slammed my right palm against my wooden bed side table and searched wildly for my annoying clock, but for some reason, I couldn't find it.

I sat up, and my hazel eyes shot open. Where was the freaking clock?! I wondered, while getting out of bed and searching madly around for it.

I walked over to my study desk like a drunk person and nearly knocked over a beautiful portrait of my mother.

She died when I was only seven. Seven. And for a seven year old naive and petite girl, it was pretty tough. When she was still alive, she would always remind me to never, ever truly love someone with all your heart. Love will bring you pain that will last in your heart... I listened to her, but why, was a mystery that remained for several years..

After while, I found my blue alarm clock (which was still beeping) and quickly turned the annoying tone off. When I glanced at it, I quickly got off my pink swivel chair and sprinted towards out of my room and rapidly prepared a quick breakfast meal.

Aish!

After awhile of burning six of my eggs, I gave up and sprinted back into my room towards my closet and couldn't help but take a quick look at myself in front of the mirror, while getting my self ready at the same time. There I was, a clumsy 17 year old girl, with hazel eyes and a pointy-ish nose. I giggled silently as I saw my red cheeks and my totally mad 'I-just-woke-up brown hair.

About a couple of minutes later, I ran straight out of the house, yelling good morning and bye to my dearest aunt. There, I grabbed my bike and quickly rode across the breezy country side, with the sun shinning on top of a small town in California.

"You've got to be kidding me," I yelled fifteen minutes later. It was this close for me to get to school on time. Now the damn school gate was locked, I couldn't think of any other way but to climb inside.

And trust me, I wasn't a very good climber. I slipped and fell face-first on to the ground a multiple of times.

But what I didn't realise, was that someone was watching me, from the other side of the fence.

When I reached the top, I struggled a little to get my green converse shoes onto the other side, and had to literally take them off my feet and throw them into the other side. Slowly and quietly, I slid my left leg onto the other side and it landed on a shoulder of someone. I smiled happily, to myself.

When my two skinny legs have jumped onto the other side, I turned around to thank the person for their help and probably will do something to repay their help.

But when I did, I regretted it.

Absolutely, regretted it.

It wasn't one of my friends, nor classmate, nor any student at this school at all. Standing in front of me, was a big fat guy wearing a formal office t-shirt and some black pants. To touch that, he had a red face on and an angry expression on it.

It was Mr Wilson.

The principal. Oops.

I smiled innocently at him and waved at him. "Morning!" I say innocently, taking a few big steps forward.

He smiles sarcastically, and places his big chubby hands into my right shoulder. I squinted, thinking he was going to hit me. But instead, he didn't.

"Tiffany Rose Dandelion

"But-"

He shakes his head and points to his office again.

What a day! I thought sarcastically in my head, as I grabbed my green pair of converse and walked straight towards to Mr Wilson's Office.
