Chapter four: Meeting Bella

I was at home with my family as we got ready to meet Bella. I was wearing

I was helping dad with cutting up the strips as Esme and Emmett made the salad. Rosalie held the bowl for them to put the stuff in.

Alice took Jasper to hunt so he wasn't overwhelmed by Bella's scent. I drank a blood bag before this.

We were making Italian food for her.

"Is she even Italian?" Rosalie asks, annoyed.

"Well her name's Bella." Emmett says.

"I'm sure she'll love it, no matter what." Dad says.

"Daddy?" I ask.

"Yes, darling?" He asks.

"I just wanted to let you know that I have some friends coming to visit me." I say.

"Who are they, if I may ask." He says.

"Damon and Stefan Salvatore; Caroline Forbes; Tyler Lockwood; Bonnie Bennett; and Elena Gilbert." I say.

"When will they be here?" He asks.

"Later today. I informed them we were meeting Bella so they won't interrupt." I say.

He nods then kisses my head.

"They're more than welcome to be here." He says.

I smile then we all then paused, smelling Bella's scent.

"Get a whiff of that." Rosalie says.

The rest of us exchange looks.

"Here comes the human." Rosalie sings.

Esme smiles. She's so excited to meet Bella. To be honest, so was I.

I haven't been close or interacted with a human since Jeremy, Elena (before she became a vampire), and Matt.

"Bella. We're making Italiano for you." Esme says to Bella.

I read her mind. She ate before coming but doesn't wanna be rude.

"Oh." Bella says.

"Bella, this is Esme. My mother, for all intents and purposes." Edward says.

"Buongiorno." Bella says.

(Translation: Good morning)

I smile. I speak damn near every language.

"Molto bene." Esme says.

(Translation: Very well)

"You've given us the opportunity to use the kitchen for someone else other than Annabelle." Dad says.
