Chapter 8

Once Mark got done crying he pulled himself together and he agreed to change into some clean clothes I helped him up and he was sober enough to walk but I had to help change into his pajama's. After, Mark went back to bed and I told him I was going to take a shower then join him, I got clean clothes and pajama's and went to the bathroom.

MARK'S P.O.V

I laid down and tried to go back to bed but now that I was awake I couldn't go back to sleep, I decided to do a let's play to try and past the time so I put my headphones on and search for a game to play. After a couple minutes of searching I finally found a good looking game called Dread-halls it was an oculus rift horror game so I decided to give it a go, I hooked up the oculus rift and got all my gear ready to go and hit the record button. "Hello everybody my name is Markiplier and welcome to let's play Dread-halls and as you can see it's an oculus rift horror so lets see what were getting ourselves into so here we go!!" I said cheerfully, I hit the start button and I was in the game.

LIZ'S P.O.V

When I got out of the shower and I got dressed I went back to Mark and I's bedroom and I saw he was doing a let's play with the oculus rift game so I decided to go in the living room and lay down on the couch and try and go back to bed. I sat down on the couch and turned the tv on and put the channel on spongebob then I turned down the volume and covered myself up and fell asleep on the couch.

I woke with the sound of Mark screaming and I got up and ran to the bedroom to see Mark crying again and I went to comfort him. "Mark what happened?" I asked very concerned "I-I was playing t-this horror game and when the m-monster came after me, I-It was just all too real for me" he managed to make out. He was trembling and when his eyes met mine I could see the terror in his eyes and then I knew for sure this game really scared the crap out of him. "Mark I think that's enough horror for today" I said "just one more time?" he asked, I sighed "alright but Im going to sit on the bed just in case you get scared again okay" I said, he nodded and went back to the game and instead of sitting on the bed I decided to lay down and wait for Mark to finish his game. I just laid there with my eyes closed.

When I woke up, I realized I had accidentally fallen back to sleep and when I sat up I saw Mark was next to me sleeping, I got up and decided to play on Marks computer for a little bit I looked at the time on the computer and the time read 1:30 P.M I shrugged and kept looking for a game to play on Marks computer. There were a lot of games on his computer but they were all mostly horror games but I wasn't a really big fan of them but I decided whats the worst the could happen so I decided to play Slender Haunt, I put on Mark's head phones and started up the game.

After a couple hours of playing, I beat Slender Haunt and played more Slender games and I hadn't realized Mark was awake because I had my mind on getting all those pages and beating the games. I finally became tired once again and finished up my last game Slender The 9 Pages and looked at the clock and it read 9:01 P.M I turned off the game, took off Mark's headphone's and went out to the living room to see Mark on the couch watching tv so I decided to sit down next to him " hey Liz " he said with smile and put his arm around me as I sat down next to him "hey Mark how long have you been up?" I asked " I don't know couple hours I saw you playing slender and I didn't want to bother you because you looked really into the game" he said "well Im tired from playing so much Slender Im going to bed you wanna go with me?" I asked "sure there's nothing really on anyways" he replied. We got up and Mark turned off the lights and the tv and we both headed for bed, I laid down and cuddled up next to Mark and when I fell asleep, I had the worst nightmare I will never forget.
