An ant wasn't paying attention one day and marched into a pond,

Not realizing it was to late.

He thrashed around and started giving up,

"I'm dead for sure."

The blossom tree near by saw the little ant,

She felt very sad that a life could be lost.

"I'll save you, little one," she whispered into the wind,

"Here's a little leaf, now climb aboard."

Clambering on, he drifted slowly,

Passing by the big fishes and hiding from the bugs.

"Thank you," he gestured and started scurrying away,

The tree began crying.

The ant realized that a woodpecker was digging holes,

He marched right up the tree and bit it's feet.

"Thank you."
