Poem 1

I like him, I like him a lot.
But every time I look at him,
He's looking at her.

How's it fair,
That I'm not perfect,
But she is,
He likes her,
She likes him,
And him,
And him.

Just shut them out,
You'll do it anyways,
Let them go.

Tears are coming through,
I can't help it,
I have to get out,
It seems I can't.

I sit in this box,
Like a little plaything,
Staring at me like a prize,
I'm the prize nobody wants,
The one you throw away when you get home.

I guess that's where I belong,
No matter what you do,
I believe,
I believe,
It all will come back to you.

I couldn't comprehend,
The chilling words,
Coming straight out of my mouth,
Every word that my mouth wrapped around,
Sent shivers through my body,
The way they shook,
Me.
