***TWO DAYS LATER. April 27th, 2016 (11AM)***

Alisha POV

I drew myself a bath. I undressed and threw in a purple bath-bomb. My eyes closed and for the first time since Prince's death; I was finally at peace...or so I thought. My mind went from peace & tranquility to chaos and gloom. My mind just kept replaying CNN breaking news that Prince had died. The love of my life gone. The man that cured my depression is the reason i'm falling back into depression. I feel like I never have anything positive to say. I'm so annoying. This is why I don't have friends. This is why i'm lonely. I mean...If I killed myself...who would really be sad? How sad would they be? Would they be sad for long? Probably not...

Narrator POV

Alisha began weeping tears. She was fed up and sick of being so sad. She soaked and sulked for a few more minutes before finally getting out of the tub. After drying off, she put on some clothes and went to her living room to join her mom, whom was watching TV.

"Hey Alisha." her mother said.

"Hey Mom. What are you watching?" she said plopping down next to her on the couch.

"Oh nothing." She said quickly changing the channel from Purple Rain.

"Why'd you change?" Alisha asked.

"I just didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable."

Even though she knew she'd cry at his sight; Alisha still wanted to see Prince. She held back the tears and began to talk to ease her mind.

"So guess what?" Alisha said.

"What?" her mom asked.

"Someone hacked Prince's twitter and tried to give me advice on how to cope on losing Prince."

"Whattt????" That's insane."

"I know right. He even sent me a selfie."

"What?! Was it like some kind of old selfie?" Alisha's mom laughed.

"No actually it was pretty new. I'd never seen that one before." Alisha replied.

"Did you look up the picture to see if it was old and you'd just never seen it?"

"Yeah I did a reverse search online and I got not one single result."

The room went silent. It wasn't silent too long. The timer on the oven went off.

"Ooh my cookies are finished." Alisha's mom said jumping up to get her cookies out the oven. Which Alisha soon followed.

"Why are you baking cookies?" Alisha asked.

"I don't know...I've been craving some white-chocolate macadamian nut cookies all day."

Alisha's mom (who's called Lee-lee which is short for full name Leona) placed the hot cookies on a plate and ate them three at a time with no milk.

"Geez can I have one?" Alisha asked.

"Oh sure." Lee-lee said with her mouth full.

"So back to the guy from twitter."

"Umm hmm" Lee-lee muttered.

"What should I do about him?"

"You know what would go great with these cookies? Dorritos!!!" Lee-lee said walking pass Alisha to the cabinet.

"Mom!!! I need your help. I'm talking about something serious."

"Oh my goodness. You're right we do need to be talking about something serious. Who ate the rest of the dorritos?!" Leona whined.

Alisha was fed up with her mother yet at the same time concerned. She had never seen her mother act like this.

"Mom are you okay?" she asked.

"Alisha how can I be okay when we have no Dorritos?" she screamed. "Get in the car! We have to go to the store."

Alisha rode shotgun while her mom drove frantically to Papa John's. She ran in there with Alisha right behind.

"Hi. Welcome to Papa John's what can I get for you today?" the cashier said.

"Hi. I'd like two bags of Spicy Nacho Dorritos." Leona said.

Alisha and the cashier looked at her like she was crazy.

"Mam we don't sell Dorritos

"Mam we don't sell Dorritos." The cashier said.

"What?" Leona said in disbelief.

"Mom are you okay?" Alisha said.

"Yeah honey i'm fine. Why?" she said.

"Because we're at Papa John's and you're trying to order Dorritos." she whispered

Alisha's mom ignored her.

"Y'all don't got any type of Dorrito's?" Leona asked.

"No..." the cashier responded.

"No cheetos?"

"Nope."

"Fritos?"

"Nope."

"No Loco's Tacos?"

"Wrong franchise."

"Mom can we just go." Alisha said pulling Lee-lee to the side.

"Alisha, I like your shirt..." a guy behind the cashier said.

Alisha looked down, not even noticing she was wearing a Prince shirt.

"Were you a huge fan?" he asked.

Alisha wanted to respond but her thinking about Prince being gone was too much. She stormed out the place crying.

She sat in the car and waited until her erratic mother came in.

"I can not believe they did not have Dorritos in there."

Alisha was too sad to even argue with her mom.

When they got home Alisha ran upstairs and locked her door. She watched Hey Arnold.

"Sameee..." she said as she watched Helga obsess over Arnold. Alisha checked her phone and no notifications. Unless you count the DMs from Prince. that she had been ignoring for two days. She looked at the time. 3:30PM.

"I wonder if 3:30 is too early to go to bed?" she said to herself. "All well." Alisha watched a few more episodes of Hey Arnold before falling asleep.

Authors Note: Confused? Don't worry it'll all make sense in a chapter or two. I have to have the story take place in more than just DMs & Heaven for detailed story parts. Plus surprisingly this story is more than half way complete.
