You taught me to forget and forgive,

You taught me to be assertive,

You taught me to believe in love,

You taught me to share and give,

You gave me every reason to live.

Now I see you broken and in tears.

So I sit beside you and take away your fears.

Because you did it for me oh so long ago.

So put down the razor and the bottle close your eyes and breathe cause remember you are the reason I'm still hanging on and you mean everything to me.
