Chapter 2

A/N I'm going to make this as long as i can,

Oshawott's POV

Wow, there are a lot of trees around here, I wonder how many bug and grass type live in them, well I can't worry about that now. I have to keep going before the daycare lady knows I'm gone, I remember there being an ocean around here, my trainer once took me to it, of course he got the HM surf and showed me the video so he could catch some more water type pokemon.

I haven't really seen normal type pokemon, though you can find them almost everywhere. It's weird, I haven't seen any pokemon yet, my trainer had to fight off a ton just to get halfway to the ocean, well, looks like we are here, it felt longer before, maybe because of all the pokemon, this seems to have a lot of gyrados in it, that must be why there are no pokemon.

Is that a bunch of fishermen? It must be the time of year for fishing contests, mainly because gyrados are swimming in the ocean, lots of them. Luckily, my trainer also taught me grass knot, it is super effective against them, and they are very heavy, it will be easy to defeat them, there seems to be an island about 6 miles from here, might be 10, I'm not good at telling how far things are.

I dive in instantly, gyrados are everywhere! It seems like this water is only gyrados, i bet farther out there will be less.Every gyrados that challenges me will have to face my grass knot! Good thing my old trainer got me a defense against other water types. But even that doesn't change trainers, now that i think of it, he just used me for things you need HMs to do, he also just used TMs, so i could no longer learn any other moves, the only moves he let me keep where aqua jet and razor shell.

I am half way to the island, now that i think about it, trainers use boats to get there, I saw a couple heading towards it. Still no pokemon challenged me, even at my low level no one dares to fight me, I wonder why.

~time skip~ (time skip, noun, means the author is too bored to write more stuff about stuff)

I am now at a pokemon center, I actually did fight a pokemon on the way here, the gyrados got the first move and took out most of my hp, but when I used grass knot it fainted instantly, but I gain no exp points... maybe its because wild pokemon don't really gain exp? (In this book they don't) Probably, well it is getting late, I drew a bad picture of a sleeping pokemon so the nurse knows i don't have any where to sleep, I give it to her, she then picks me up and carries me to a room I can sleep, she then lays me in there and closes the door. Finally I can get some rest!

(Couple hundred more words until i break my record of words in a chapter :D)

When I wake up, i notice that the digital clock in the corner of the room says '7:38 AM', i better get going, when i get back into the lobby of the poke center, I leave an oran berry on the counter as a thanks and walk out, it seemed to be raining! I love the rain!

Snivy, oshawott, and tepig's POV

Then i suddenly bumped my head into another pokemon!

Snivy's POV

"Ouch! watch where your going" "Sorry, just got out of the pokemon center, I was sleeping there." I heard a voice say "Well, we should all watch where we are going, and why are we still out in public? There could be trainers that want to catch us!" I said to him, I looked up to see he was an oshawott "Me and snivy where finding someplace to stay out of the rain" i heard tepig say

"Can I join you?" i heard oshawott say "Sure!" tepig said quickly, hmm, a group of starters, each one covers another ones weakness "Alright" I say "Wait! I have an idea! We should give each other nicknames so if we start fighting other starter pokemon, we can know who to call for!" said the tepig "Hmm, I agree, though we should make it sound like real names, other than online name stuff" I reply.

We where all in the pokemon center now, "Can i be jack?" Oshawott said "Sure, I don't really care what you name yourselves as long as i get to be philip" I say "Then I will be maya!" the tepig said.

"So umm, what should we do now?" Oshawott said, "that is a very good question" I reply back to him, what where we going to do?
