A woman with wolf-like qualities stood with two other women as they watched their chosen champion in pain before the cauldron shimmered and showed the place, their champion was forced to stay at, on fire and their champion escaping from it. The woman smiled and looked upon the two other women with happiness saying, "She has done it. She will be safe from those who called her, her family!"
As she said the word family, the woman spat it out like venom evilly hating their champions birth mother and stepfather for what they did to the poor young girl. "Agreed Lupa, this is a great time for the young girl to possibly find a new family that will keep her safe. But we cannot send her to that camp yet, he will try to manipulate her from there to try and turn her to his side. She needs some time to mature and learn the true love of a family," a young woman in black robes from head to toe, with her feet covering in wisps of Mist, said softly with soft eyes gazing at the child with sad eyes.
"I have to agree with Hecate, we need to do the right thing and see if there is some people who would take the young child in and raise her up to allow her to get stronger so she can get revenge on those who did this to her," the third woman said with an evil smirking smile on her pale face with her grey eyes glittering in smugness as her black hair flowed against her back provided by the Mist Hecate offered to conceal their meeting with the Roman Queen called Lupa.
"That won't be necessary Nemesis, she's already found a home. We just need to protect her and cover up her scent from the monsters until she is ready," Lupa said as the cauldron shimmered to show the young girl surrounded by a street gang with their leader using an ancient blood ritual to make their champion his daughter and the only girl of their gang.
"I'll confuse the monsters with my powers of the Mist so it should provide the girl a chance to grow up," Hecate offered softly.
"That's very kind of you Hecate but do not use it on the Olympians human forms or they will get suspicious and report it to Zeus. Your champion is powerful with both the Greek and Roman minor goddesses blessings and the power of being the champion on both sides," a young girl who made her presence known with warm chocolate brown eyes and soft brown auburn hair that seemed as if it was on fire.
"You have a point Hestia, but your one of the Major Olympian Goddesses. Why choose to be with the minor Olympians when you could've chose the child as your own champion?" Nemesis asked in curiosity.
Hestia smiled sweetly and said, "I believe in this girl to be the champion for all Minor Olympians and will be the key to peace for the Greek Olympians and the path to peace between the Roman demigods and the Greek demigods. It is not my place to interfere and choose her as my champion for I gave her a small blessing when she was a baby to find the true love for her true family when she finds them. I did not expect for her birth family to go this far with taking away the girls humanity and enhancing her to the point of having powers unknown to us."
All three minor goddesses nodded in acknowledgement of the Last Olympians wisdom of words and watched as their champion smiled before kicking a guy, to her right, in the stomach looking a bit mad at something the guy said while the rest of the gang chuckled. Nemesis laughed and said, "That girls a keeper I tell ya."
Hecate smiled with Lupa and Hestia and chuckled a bit before saying, "We must head out now, Zeus will get suspicious of our meeting since we've been here for too long."
"I agree but I can't help but worry for the child as she is much like a daughter to me more than her now-gone good-for-nothing birth mother," Lupa said softly.
"Yes but sometimes knowing the person they fell in love with is an Olympian can overwhelm a mortal and often make them change their ways to the evil side while bringing their children in with them," Hestia reminded them gently before leaving in a flash of flames.
"She has a big point there, if only we could've erased her mother's memories of knowing the child's Olympian father was an Olympian. But you can't change the past and only hope for the future," Hecate pointed out before disappearing within the Mist and shadows.
"You know I hate it when she's mysterious like that. It's a bit creepy," Nemesis said with a frown and looked at Lupa with a raised eyebrow.
Lupa just shook her head and said, "It's part of her Olympian personality. Let her be herself as she never gets to have this sort of fun on Olympus or had a champion since the last one from eons ago."
"Right, I better get back to my home before Zeus accuses me of something I didn't do and of conspiring with you in my Greek form," Nemesis said with a sigh before disappearing leaving Lupa alone with her thoughts and the cauldron still glowing and showing her champion of both the Greeks and Romans.
"Stay safe my child, for when you are old enough to take on the prophecy, your life will never be the same. Learn to love for all of our sakes," Lupa whispered to the cauldron before shifting into her wolf form and leaving with the cauldron going black and disappearing into the black fog from within.
