**Mason's POV**
I feel a vibrate in my pocket, and look down to see that my iPhone 6 has text notification. That's weird... everyone knows not to bother me in a class. I mean, I'm not really much of a nerd but I just need to pass my classes ; my grades have dropped since a certain gorgeous, blue-eyed, blonde-haired transfer came to Lake View High. However, unfortunately she hasn't noticed me but then again she barely notices anyone.
I unlock my phone, and it's a text from a number I don't have saved:
Unknown- Hey, you're pretty great at soccer!
Mason- um thanks, who is this?
As I wait for a reply, I have a crazy hope that it could be Leila Collins, the most gorgeous girl in my school. I can't believe that I think that, I don't have a chance since she has a boyfriend. But he's a fucking jerk!
Unknown- I'll tell you when you are burning to know, but you aren't there yet Mason...
Mason- What should I call you then?
This is CRAZY! I don't even know why I keep replying. I mean, this could be any creep but something has drawn me in to reply. I really want to know who this is. I hate being in the dark (figuratively and literally).
Unknown- Call me your angel sweetie...
Mason- Okayyyy... Do I know you Angel??
I look up from my phone and see it's 5 minutes until break, that means I get to see Leila, even if it is just a glimpse, before Alec, my best friend, drags me away to help him with soccer practice. I change this person's number to 'Angel 😇'.
Angel 😇- I doubt you have noticed me, I'm nothing special. But I do go to your school.
Okay, that was cryptic.. Hmmm, I wonder if I do know her? Well I don't doubt that I do know her, even just passively.
Mason- Angel, you must have gotten your name somehow you must be gorgeous. I hope you really do go to my school.
Mason- I must see this Angel for myself..
**Leila's POV**

I blush when I read Mason's text. I doubt he even likes me, so that's why I have done this anonymously... I can't afford for my boyfriend to find out either, which I really hope he doesn't since he is possessive at the best of times. Not that my Dad minds since that's how he is as well.
The bell rings and I grab my things and start to head out of my classroom, then as I exit I see my boyfriend walking towards me and I know he will want to check my phone so I quickly delete the texts and hope that Mason doesn't text me while I'm around Leo (boyfriend) and his friends.
I squeal as Leo picks me up and kisses me possessively, I sigh internally as I see Mason coming out of the classroom with a clear view of Leo and I, I blush and hide my face in Leo's shirt so I don't have to look at Mason but Leo death glares Mason and his friend Alec as we head towards the cafeteria. Leo has his hand wrapped around my waist so I can't go anywhere. I whisper in his ear that I'm not hungry but he still gives me a tray. Fuck, I'm too nervous to eat so I grab a packet of pretzels and a diet coke to fake eat in front of Leo.
As I look around for my besties Kylie and Ashly I see Mason he looks so freaking handsome in his outfit as always. I feel someone go into my pocket and I jump, then I realise that it was Leo taking my iPhone 6, I used to try and get it back, now I just give up.. lunch breaks never change with Leo and I, we sit there being the 'star soccer couple' as always. I am so sick of it but I can't fucking change it.
