Prologue 1

Note: This is just a chapter leaking bits of what the story will be about. There will be multiple parts of this until October 7, 2016, when the fun really begins....

6:00 AM

Taka Jr. sat on the front porch of his house, watching the sun rise. He hugged his knees, trying to wash away terrible memories.

Behind him, his wife, Lyra, watched him sitting on the porch. "Why so early in the morning, Taco?" She asked.

"Nothin'," Taka Jr. replied. He stood up and stretched.

"You've never been up this early."

"That's normal."

"Normal? You normally wake up at 10."

"People change."

"And change you always do. Well, I guess you do you." Lyra walked back into the house, leaving the door slightly ajar.

Visions flooded into Taka Jr's eyes. First, a house ablaze. Next, something dark. It was a person holding a blue and red wand in each hand. Then the vision flashed to a white knight in a seriously bulky armor. And another, a girl with a unicorn horn, pink clothing, and a book.

The last vision was something Taka Jr. couldn't believe: The shadowy wand figure walking through a portal to a world...a world that looked a lot like the Halcyon Fold.

And it was.
