It was a nice sunny day, Derrick, 16 was a teenager living in a small town out of Orlando called "Turtle Cove". He lived in a flat that he bought, his front porch had a lovely view of beach, he loved it. He was raised there since young his Mum, Tanya and his younger brother Ash, and there's Brad, his stepdad, His mom and dad split, I don't know exactly why but he lives somewhere else in Turtle Cove. He decided to move out because he is having a new baby sister and there was not enough room in the house so he moved a few blocks away.
*BEEP... BEEP... BEEP* The sound of his alarm wakes hims up for his job, he works at a new breakfast shop called "Breakfast Pizza", That place was popular already. So he got up, wearing his pyjama pants and went a poured him some cereal. He had glass sliding doors and he had a wonderful view of the sunrise across the ocean, Then he saw,a green flash of light, sort of like a shooting star but bigger, like a spaceship sort of, and it shot across the sun, but he simply ignored it. He finished his cereal and coffee, and he watched a bit of TV, it was 5.40 am so he watched a bit while he finished his coffee. After he finished, he sniffed his armpit and he knew it was time for a shower. So he got up and went for a shower. 1 minute in, A mini earthquake shocked his house a little, he felt it and he was to focused on showering. He got out, freshened up, and got dressed into his work uniform, which was black shorts, with a green button up shirt, with a bow. He didn't like the uniform. He left his house at 6.30am because the shop opened at 8am. He didn't have a car yet, so he walked to the store. He likes to go their early because he can sit in the back because the back is like a lounge room, so he can sit in there and wait for the shop to actually open. His boss was already there, his name was Chad, he was a cool laid back kinda boss. So me and him just sit in the back until we open. It was 8.00, Chad unlocked the doors and 3 customers arrived not long after he unlocked them. I was cashier for the day so i had to serve the customers. Then a women, with a black hood covering her eyes approached me. She said " May i have.. uhhh... the human please?" I looked at her and said "Uhh we don't sell humans, but we do sell Pizza" she went silent and then replied "uhh... um... i have to go now" as she left through the door. "That... was strange" i said confused.
So the rest of the day went by, it was now 5.30pm and his shift was job for the day. "See you all tomorrow" i say waving to the crew as i walk through the door. I was on my way home, the sun was setting over the beach as a got a call from mom. "Hey mom" i say, "Oh hi Derrick, how was work?" she replied. "It was good, did you feel that earthquake this morning? I felt it while I was showering" i say, "No I didn't, i must of been sleeping son," she replies, "Have you had dinner?" she says. "No but Chad gave me some pizza for good working" i reply, "Oh that's good, well i better let you go, just checking in with you, okay bye" she says, "Bye". I arrive home, to find weird scratch marks on my door, like someone, or something was breaking in. I unlock it and close it behind me and lock it. I get into my boxers and take my shirt off because it hot for some reason. I heated up the pizza, and poured me a glass of water, and sat on the couch at ate my dinner. I was really tired so i was dozing off slowly, then suddenly a bang on my door, i look to see three figures, they open the door, i'm still half asleep, on of them jumps on top of me and, stabs me with something in the neck, felt like a needle and i started drifting off...
