the truth hurts

As I walked to the main building, I remembered rumors about Heart Technologies. That they started this virus, but that's just ramblings of a madman because everyone knows it's natural. As I got closer to the main doors I noticed that they were made of metal. I grabbed the handle and pushed down but wouldn't you know, it was locked. I placed the breaching charge on the door and after it was set I walked back a good 20-30 feet back. When my ears stopped ringing I looked at the door or where the door once stood, now there was a hole. I walked to the newly made hole. I walked straight into the door, I fell and I hit the ground and man did my bones hurt.

I examined myself as I stood up, making sure I had no broken bones. I was lucky my insides regenerate thanks to the body adrenalin enhancements. When my body introduced the adrenalin into my system it sets my body on overdrive to heal me. I looked up and around the room I was in. It looked like it was a lab or something. There were skeletons in lab coats, desks, and some sorta containment units along the walls. One of the walls opened and dropped some glowing gauntlet on the ground I walked towards it with caution. When I was about a step away it jumped onto my wrist. I went to tear it off but then some arms came out of the walls and grabbed me.

"Shhh it will be over soon" A woman said. I looked for her, she was nowhere to be found.

Then a man who was about 18-19 ish appeared out of nowhere.

"Whoa compadre. Slow your role and just let it happen." He said as he walked over to me. I got a better look at him. He was latino with jeans and a red buttoned up shirt.

"I will, when you let me go!" I yelled at him he jumped back in fear.

"Dude chill, I'm just installing my self into your neural web." He said as he walked closer to me he then grabbed my head.

I could feel myself get calmer and then I could see it. He wasn't all there he was missing everything below his knees.

"Who the hell are you?" I said as his body started to materialize.

"AI 658392 but I go by Ryan" he said with a cheery smile and a little jump.

"Wait... AI as in artificial intelligence?" I said as the robot arms let me go and retracted into the wall.

"Yeah," he said as he looked around the room obviously bored.

"How does that work and why did you say you had to install yourself into my neural web?" I asked as he jumped up cheerfully.

"Well I don't know exactly how I work but, I know that I am what's called a personal AI. I'm put into your brain and you're the only one who can see and hear me. That's the extent of my knowledge of it." He said as he walked towards the other end of the room.

"Okay, but how do you think?" I said as I walked farther into the room.

"I kinda look at your brain and find your "perfect best friend" in your unconscious mind and portray them" he said as he followed behind me.

"So do you have knowledge of the past" I asked as I looked at him with hoping eyes.

"Yeah everything" He said as soon as he finished that sentence my brain went on overdrive with questions.

"You know I'm in your mind I can read your mind. So I choose three questions to answer.

One, there was heroes, two there was ice cream, three there was no fear." He said with a smile.

"What did these heroes do?" I asked with hope that I could compare them to me.

"They were politicians" He said with a skip.
