Raion and Shiro: Orphan Brothers

Brotherhood

(It seemed just like any other day in Daki. But at sometime during the night the forests that surround the village changed. To the Northwest, the forests changed too a very windy place. To the Southwest, all the trees turned white. To the South, the forest was on fire with a flame that cannot be extinguished. To the Southeast, all the trees became trees made out of iron. To the Northeast, the forests was shadowed by clouds that never moved. And to the North, every tree turned into ice, the ground turned completely into ice that would never melt (not even moondrip could do it).

Raion: This is fascinating. Lady Alda, can I go explore?

Alda: No its too dangerous. You could get hurt.

Raion: (depressed) Ok.

(But Raion wouldn't give up so easily. When he had the chance, he escaped from the orphanage and ran North to the ice forest. He got far enough in it that he could no longer tell where he was. Feeling helpless, Raion sits on the ground and waits to see if anyone finds him.)

???: Are you lost?

Raion: I am. Who are you?

Shiro: My name is Shiro. I came here to do some research on forests but thanks to that ice dragon my plans are out the window.

Raion: Ice Dragon?

Shiro: There's actually six. I imagine that each dragon changed a part of the forest correct?

Raion: Yea. Do you know anything about it?

Shiro: I only know names. The names of each of the dragons that did this.

Raion: What's the dragons names.

Shiro: Sky dragon Grandeeney, Shadow dragon Skiadrum, Iron dragon Metalicana, White dragon Weisslogia, King of fire dragons Igneel, and Ice dragon Kori. Six of the most powerful dragons that have ever been known. But none of the are the strongest. The most powerful dragon is called Acnologia, or the apocalypse dragon.

Raion: Why did the dragons do this? Could we go ask them to reverse this?

Shiro: I think there dead. I found a pile of bones in each of the 6 forests. I can only assume they belong to the dragons.

Raion: Well if there's nothing that can be done then I guess I'll go home. (Starts walking away)

Shiro: I thought you were lost?

Raion: Good point.

Shiro: I'll help you. Don't worry.

(Back in Daki, everyone seems to have lost interest in the forests and moved on with their day. But as Raion and Shiro arrive at Alda's house, she is standing there waiting for Raion.)

Alda: I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU NOT TO GO! YOU GO GET IN YOUR ROOM RIGHT NOW BEFORE I REALLY GET MAD!

Raion: YES MAM! (Runs into his room)

Shiro: Wow. I didn't think he would get like that from yelling. Don't get me wrong I thing he's pretty tough but he gets scared way too easily.

Alda: Who are you?

Shiro: I'm Shiro. Raion found me in the forest and brought me here.

Alda: Don't lie. Raion can't tell which way is which. There's no way he could have brought you here. You brought him back, isn't that right?

Shiro: Wow. Nothing gets past you does it? Well I'll be off now.

Alda: Hang on there. I haven't seen you before. Are you from another village?

Shiro: That's none of your concern.

Alda: Why don't you stay here? I need someone to be a brother for Raion. He needs someone to look up to. Someone to guide him to grow up in the best way. I can't teach him what you can. Please accept.

Shiro: Very well. I'll be a brother for Raion. At your request.

Alda: Thank you Shiro.

(Shiro: I don't know why, but Alda always had her ways of convincing the kids in the orphanage to do what she asks them. It may not be the ideal live choice, but at least I have the brother I've always wanted. And that's all anyone could ever ask for. But it wouldn't be long before once again he'd find other boys walking around the forests and invite them in as brothers aswell. Raion just needs a family to love and protect him. In fact, thats just about all anyone needs.)
