A Day At The Graveyard

Today at the graveyard,
don't speak yet a sound.

Pay attention to your surroundings,
and what will you find?

Find out the beauty of the great beyond.

But if you must ask,
the things that I found.

I'll tell you.

I heard the chirping of birds,
gloomy bells and the sad mourning caws of ravens.

I tasted the crisp morning air,
felt the moist morning dew.

I smelled the fresh morning air,
mixed with a slight smell of decay.

What did I see you ask?

I saw weathered tombstones both new and old,
fake flowers scattered about.

Now my dear,
it's your turn.

Go out,
then tell me what you found.
