Max and family

Sang's Pov
"Hey cupcake! Look at these adorable babies" I turned to Luke to see what animal he had picked up. "Awww Luke he's so cute"! I take the golden puppy from his arms and cuddle him close. He's small, most likely the runt of the litter. Luke guide me to the back of the shop to see the rest of the puppies. A lady came up to the pen and picked up one of the puppies. "Are you going to adopt one of these little guys? They could really use a good home. Their mother had gotten hit by a car and broke her leg. Their owner didn't have enough money to take care of them and pay the medical bills". I looked to Luke to see what he thought.

Some time later

"Thank you come again"! I waved at the lady as me and Luke walked out with all the puppies.
The ride home was filled with puppy cuddles and kisses.

Max's Pov
I perk up as I see Sang and Luke pull up. But what's that smell? Puppies! Friends! I start barking like crazy. Sang and Luke get out of the car and start unloading the puppies. They see me and stay back. I walk over. I gotta keep my cool. I bark at them "Hi friends"! The smallest one looks at me and tilts his head to the side. "Are you my daddy"? What..."Yes I am, welcome home"! They all run at me knocking me over.

Sang's Pov
What was that? I look to Luke to see if he saw the same thing I did. "Is Max okay"? Luke turns his attention away from the dogs and smiles at me. "Yeah he's fine. See his tail is going crazy". I nod accepting his answer... for now.

Kota's Pov
I open the door to the garage to greet Sang and Luke. But I'm met with Max on the floor covered with puppies... "Ten, what's this"? Sang turns to me her eyes widening, and her finger going to her lip. Max barks and picks one of the puppies up. He walks to me and drops the pup at my feet. He does that to the rest of the puppies and barks again. "See Max is okay with this" I raise my head and look at Luke raising my eyebrow. "Well at least their not skunks". Sang blushes and Luke snorts remembering when they got Sprinkles. "So what are their names"? Sang's eyes widen again. "We can keep them"?! "Yeah Ten we can keep them".
"Well then the girls will be Cookie, Cinnamon, Candy, and Cream. The boys will be Aspen, Carter, and Prince". "Sang is that okay with you"?  She nods and smiles "Lukes names are perfect".

{If you have read the selection series you know Aspen, Carter and Maxon. Maxon is the prince Carter is a guard along with Aspen. So that's where the names come from}

Sang, Luke and Kota carry the puppies into the house as Max follows. "Well now that we have them, they can stay here and I'll train them". Sang and Luke nod in agreement as Kota pulls out his phone and sends a text. "I just texted Victor to get dog tags for them a long with some others things to". "Um Kota will your mom and Jessica be okay with this"? Kota nods "I don't think she'll care and Jessica loves animals". Sang nods and sometime later Victor comes in. "Hey Kota I got the dog tags and I hope you don't mind but I also brought a another dog she's a golden retriever named Molly. She used to be my neighbors dog but they abandoned her". Molly walks in staying behind Victors legs. Max immediately stands to go greet and sniff Molly with the puppies following.

Max's Pov
"Hello my names Max"! "Hi I'm Molly". I tilt my head to the side. "So why are you here"? Her head goes down. "My owners move out and forgot about me". "Oh... Well you can stay here with me and the kids" She looks up. "Really"? Her blue eyes fill with hope. Oh what beautiful blue eyes she has! "Of course"! Her tail starts waging and she gives me a kiss. "Are you my mommy"? We both look down at Aspen. "Yes that is your mommy". The puppies get a bit closer to her, their tails wagging. "Mommy! Mommy! Daddy! Daddy"!

Sang's Pov
"So are Molly and Max okay with each other"?
"Yeah Ten, Max has accepted Molly and the puppies". "Yeah where did you get the puppies from"? I blush a bit and look at my prince. "Me and Luke got them. Victor nods "Better than a skunk". I guess puppies are a bit more normal than a skunk.
