Chapter 10

Elsa's POV

I sat down on my bed disappointed in my self, how will I ever make this up to them? Urgh! I hate myself
I stood up from my bed and looked out my window thinking about what I would do to make it up to them. Hmmm.... Aha!

I grabbed my phone and dialed my assistant

"This is Maria Martinez, may I help you?"

"Hey Maria, this is Elsa, I was wondering if I have any plans for tomorrow?"

"Oh Miss Elsa, you're free tomorrow Miss"

"Perfect, thank you Maria. Oh and you're in charge tomorrow I have some errands to do, would that be fine with you Maria?"

"Oh yes it's fine by me ma'am"

"Oh thank God, well I better go, bye Maria"

I locked my phone then went outside my room and walked to the kitchen to grab a glass of water
Then I heard the sound of keys clicking, I sat down on the sofa and looked on my phone just to look like I'm busy with something. The door opened and revealed a tired Jack, his hair was messy (as always) his eyes looked sleepy.

I sighed and walked towards him, I kissed his cheek and took of his jacket, and asked how his day went by, just to kill the awkwardness or whatever

"Hey Jack, uhm, how was you're day?" I smiled at him

"You tell me" he said then walked inside his room. I sighed and sat back down on the sofa, frustrated, I rubbed my temples to calm me down. Oh Jack

"Uhm, uh.. I'l- I'll be uh outside if you ne-need me" I said in a cracky tone while tears are starting to show on my eyes, as I walked outside to our garden

I just need to calm myself down and think positive I thought to myself. I walked around our beautiful garden and smiled at the sight of the colorful flowers, I'm so grateful for what an outstanding job my gardeners did (a/n: Hi guys👋🏻😁 just a reminder, I'm adding a few new characters in the story, just in case you guys get confused😁😘)

I walked towards my two gardeners, Annie and Ray, but I called them Ma and Pa, they're like family to me and the always take care of the house when I'm not around. And they're both married to each other, Annie and Ray are 47 and 48. And they still had that love in their hearts for each other which is rare nowadays, cuz most couples doesn't last that long, but I don't blame them, love is hard to find, and difficult to have.

"Hey Ma! Hey Pa! Hows the garden?" I asked smiling widely at the couple

"Elsie! Goodness it's been a while since we talked! Glad you asked, Ray has bene planting gorgeous batches of periwinkles three days ago and they look so beautiful, right Ray Ray?" Ma (Annie) asked to Pa (Ray) as Ma said that Pa got up and walked up to Ma and hugged from behind. I smiled at both of them

"Not as beautiful as you Ma" Pa said and kissed her cheek, I giggled and hugged the two

"Oh you guys, I missed you a bunch"I said and they hugged me back

"We missed you too Elsie" They both said, I smiled at them warmly and broke apart from the hug

"Ma, Pa, can I ask you guys for a teeny, tiny favor??" I asked eagerly

"Sure Sweetie anything" Ma said, I smiled in delight

"Well can I have a mix of red and white bouquet of roses please? Oh please oh please!!" I said in a pleading tone. They both looked at each other and giggled/chuckled at my sudden actions

"Oh sure sweetheart, good thing the roses are all bloomed up from yesterday. I just need to cover it up for you and it'll be good to go" Ma said sweetly, I squealed and hugged them both

"Oh thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!" I said, and the two laughed at me

"You're welcome" They said

As Ma walked to where the roses were planted at and picked like fifteen white roses and fifteen red roses, and walked to the tabled and took out a lace cloth thingy and covered it's stems, leaving the top of the roses revealed, and Pa helped Ma tie the pink ribbon on the bouquet. I smiled in awe, not because of how beautiful the bouquet of roses looked, I smiled at awe of the cute couple in front of me. I wish Jack and I could be that sweet to each other..

"Here ya go Elsie" Pa said and gave me the bouquet, I squealed and hugged the two in a sign of how thankful I am

"Thank you so much Ma, Pa" I hugged them again and smiled at the two

"Well I better get going, I still have to do something, bye Ma, Pa, see you guys later" I said and waved at the couple

I went inside the house and grabbed a small cared and wrote a little note on it saying some motivational quote and wrote my signature on it and put it inside the bouquet.
I hid the bouquet in my room and knocked on Jack's door

"Jack? Jack?" I asked, as I knocked for the last time, I jiggle the knob and noticed it was not locked, I opened the door and saw an empty bedroom with no Jack. Where could he be now? I went back inside of my room and took the bouquet and put in on Jack's bed and closed the door. Oh Jack where the hell are you now?
