The girls had trouble sleeping again. Cress said that she would be the one to take a night shift for the night. They couldn't win an argument against her, so they decided that they would take turns.

Sirena walked down the crowded halls with a gloomy expression stuck to her face. Her grip tightened on her books. Cress was walking beside her, her eyes glued to the screen of her phone.

"You might run into something if you don't look up and pay attention." Sirena pushed her chin upwards, Cress's eyes looking up.

She shrugged. "I thought I'd just prepare myself for a text message, you never know, Zero might be watching us."

Sirena snorted,"Of course he's or she's watching us right now. It's Zero."

"Isn't that supposed to be "God is watching us"?" Cress replied with a frown.

"I'm pretty sure that Zero isn't Jesus."

Cress gave her a glare and returned to her phone but then placed her phone up in her pocket and started to chat with Sirena, only to be knocked down on the floor by some guy. Cress and the guy landed in an awkward position with him on top of her. His brown hair slightly tickled her forehead, their faces almost close to touching. Cress looked deep into his eyes, then her stare immediately hardened. "Get off me!" She kicked him off.

The guy helped her up, but she quickly pulled her hand away. Crescent sent him a death glare and spat,"Watch where you're going next time, idiot."

The guy cleared his throat as a few of his friends appeared beside him. The guy nodded,"Sorry. I didn't see you there. Please excuse me."

Cress scowled and caught up to Sirena who had been watching the whole scene. She gave her a knowing grin and poked her sides. "Who's the hottie? He's gorgeous if I do say so myself."

"He's no one." Cress vaguely answers.

Cress had to agree with Sirena. He did look pretty handsome with his brown hair and sea green eyes. Crescent frowned at herself and forced herself to link arms with Sirena, tugging her away from the guy and his friends.

As he watched Cress walk away, his friend cleared his throat. "Sir? Are you alright?"

"I'm fine. I suppose it was my fault, I didn't watch where I was going." He brushed off imaginary dust off of him and stalked off into his first class, the direction Cress was headed to.

While Sirena was in her other class, Cress played around with her pencil and texted Lyra if she had gotten to school safely. Cress crossed her legs and patiently waited for Lyra's text.

She quickly put her phone up when her teacher came in with a smile. "Okay everyone, today we have a new student that came from New York. Please give your attention to Nicholo Kingston." She stepped back as Nicholo got in view. Cress looked at him and remembered that he was the guy that bumped into her. Her mood instantly soured.

Sirena looked over to Lyra from her seat. "So you're telling me, that you completely drove all the way here, without wrecking you car? How is that even possible?"

"I guess I was just lucky or something. Aren't you so proud of me?" Lyra joked around.

Sirena chuckled,"I'll stop loving you when Spongebob Squarepants gets his driver's license."

"But he maybe won't get his license." Lyra said.

"That's the point. Cress and I will love you forever then, unless you wreck your car."
