"Lily?" Marissa said. "What's wrong? Forgot your vibrator?"
"Huh?" Marissa's voice pulled Lily out of her thoughts. "Oh, nothing."
Lily had no comment to Marissa's last remark. She was used to Marissa's personality. It was a cold one. People usually just liked Marissa for her looks and superficial charm. Her personality, otherwise, drew people away from her, but there was a reason that she was the way she was. Her past was rough and Lily, Taylor, AJ, and Carrie understood that about her. In fact, they didn't know what they would do without Marissa and her seemingly heartless remarks. They needed her. She had something they lacked.
Charisma.
"You sure?" AJ voiced from the seat behind them.
"Yeah," Lily said. "It's just that... I'm gonna be away from the house I grew up from for awhile. I'm not used to it."
"I thought you said you wanted to get out of there and never look back," Taylor recalled.
"I did," Lily responded. "I still do. Guess I just never thought the day would come."
"Look to your future, Lily," Carrie advised. "This is the university we're going to. It's a place to start over. To shape your future."
"And to party like there's no tommorow and meet hot guys," Marissa added.
"I sincerely hope that's not all you're attending college for," Carrie said to Marissa. "Studying should be your top priority."
"Oh yeah?" Marissa mocked. "What do you know about it, Ugly Betty? Hell, I've been partying my whole life while you've been studying and it's earned you nothing more than I have."
"Guess some people just have it differently," Carrie muttered.
"That's an understatement," Taylor said.

The girls arrived at the university and parked their car outside their dormitory.
"I still think we should have picked a sorority," Carrie said.
Marissa scoffed. "So we can live with a bunch of bitches while we could be living with hot guys? I don't think so. You need to live a little. We all know how you are, Carrie. You want to live in a sorority because you're the kinkiest out of all of us and you're trying to control your sexuality and block it out with all this math and bullshit."
"Whatever, Marissa," Carrie responded.
This was normal. The girls were like sisters. They loved eachother, whether Marissa would admit it or not, and fought like old married couples would.
"Can we just go, guys?" Lily urged.
The girls looked over their dormitory. The university campus was like a small town. It had several shops, education buildings, dormitories, sororities, and fraternities. The dormitory that the five girls were to live in was large. The building appeared to be three stories tall. The double doors that were meant for entering seemed to be calling the girls towards them.
Taylor stepped forward with Marissa closely behind her, followed by Carrie, AJ, and Lily.
"Do you think the guys are here yet?" AJ asked.
"Seems pretty quiet to me," Lily said.
"I swear they better be here, but more importantly, they better be hot," Marissa said.
"We get it, Mariss, you like pretty faces and big dicks," Taylor said inappropriately.
Taylor was like that. She was the comedian of the group, but she often cracked her jokes at inappropriate times, or her humor was a little harsh, but she could always put smiles on the girls' faces.
